I really hate being manipulated or guilted into things. Those people that post super sad pictures of children in the hospital pictures with the caption "Like if you want to see this child healed, ignore if you want the child to die." OMG....... how psycho manipulative is that? I ignore them and sometimes delete the person! It was a post like that..... Go on about how great it is we get to be with our loved ones, then beg for Pluses if you agree. I don't agree with your methods!

The weird part is, my husband and I have discussed applying for foster children (school aged). I also fully intend to 'adopt' a child or two in Africa with one of those foundations later in life, once I'm financially stable, working, finished schooling, etc. So it's not like I'm some meanie! This reminds me, I need to ask hubby about the foster kid thing again. He actually liked the idea - completely surprised me. He wanted to think it over more, but now that our application is done, we are free to "think" about other things
