So I posted a reply on the Manila thread. I hope i didn't come out as rude. My husband M thinks it's civil and polite but you never know how other people view things.

No worries... I was just joking about how there is no consistency with CIC!!! It has been quite the trip we have had dealing with them and it is now just something we have to laugh and shake our heads about or else I just start crying! At least we know when we are moving up no matter what! ;D
oh and I wish I had some dim sum!! My favorite little spot that was just across the street closed so now I have to find a new place

Oy.... you can never please anyone. Some people just like to argue to hear/see themselves talk/type. I've tried even PMing some of these people and explaining nicely how their behavior negatively effects others.... as you can imagine, they hop on their high horse, stick their nose in the air, and lecture me instead.......... so I give up.

Well the person who replied to me was okay. Probably not as friendly as you lot here but not that scary either

Please don't cry! It's just been days since we submitted our application but I have shed many tears already. I hate crying because of the CIC (well not entirely because of them yet...) and how slow our country does things. I had to wait 3 months to get our marriage contact. *sigh* but at least that part is over.

1- if i have loan as OSAP or mortgage can this effect about the file ?

2-after all this new laws does the immigration can come and check if we live in real marriage ?

Okay, I'm late to the party but I think I stumbled upon that post. I was put off by those comments and I think that if you have doubts, there are nicer, more polite ways to express them. You're going to get a lot of opinion on this thread........ just a warning.

2) Umm, the fact you're asking this scares me! If you aren't sure you'll still be in a relationship in two years WHY are you even considering sponsoring her?????? You have to sign an undertaking promising to provide for 3 years or repay any social assistance your spouse uses. Is she pressuring you to sponsor her? This sounds like a bad, bad situation.

I'm the non-Canadian spouse in my situation and I never once asked my husband to sponsor me. It was his decision and he made ME pay for it. (I'm somewhere around $1800 spent on Immigration alone!)

It sounds like you're considering sponsoring her just as a favor. You're going to get ripped to shreds here because we are completely against that. Also, you're risking your own PR doing it. If you're caught, CIC can revoke PRs of both people. Do you really want to risk that?

LOL I just tried to do yoga in a room with three of my dogs. I used to do some yoga with one dog, a little male named Milo. He loved to sit at the edge of the mat or climb on my lap if I sat. Anyway, I put down my mat this evening and all three girls came running to investigate. Two of the little devils MinPins kept on trying to climb my back, step on my tummy, step on my head... Well you get the picture ;D Suffice to say I barely got any yoga done but it was a riot. I kept laughing the whole time.

My pleasure! Nothing much to teach though. All you need is a mat and at least one dog. You lie on your mat, your dog attacks/cuddles you and you laugh. It may help with the abs, but there's a risk. All that laughing may cause unwanted gas.
