With regard to cross-posting, it's not a rule - just my own personal little annoyance when new people do it. And the reason it annoys me is because in the vast majority of cases, they post to multiple threads and then completely forget to check ALL of them for replies, and then people like me who spend time typing up a response are often doing it for nothing, because they can't remember where they posted due to so many cross-posts.

I report those threads/users. Doubt it does anything, but at least I feel better. I hate when people spam. Almost as much as when someone 'bumps' their thread after a few hours, especially on a holiday!

You know what would be a good idea? Put this thread in charge of visas. We'd knock them out and have nice jobs........... we could all take over a chateau and have our own wings... and big huge dinning table that's our work space and also where we host our party suppers. Hot tub out the wall of glass doors.

We'd get tons of work done.

Well for a while I thought Filipinos should post in their own language and when I learned that English is actually their second language, now everytime I see a thread where everybody is speaking English, somoene jumps with a "pata mata kala pung windy" : sorry I don't know any Tagalog

I have several Pinoy/Pinay friends, Americans and Canadians. Most of them know some Tagalog, but all speak English as their first language because they were born in N. A.................. to annoy them I pronounce it "Tag-a-long." Hehehehe it drives them up the wall.

My friends die laughing while trying to correct me

No worries, they get me back just as bad about my whiteness.... my blinding dayglow whiteness.

Yummm, I got a Thai curry simmering sauce from the store. I simmered some chicken with the sauce and it's perfect...spicy and lemonish ahhhhhhhh I made some white rice and it's just perfect.
