Lol, I guess it's not a great time to talk about that here, huh : All the best for your upcoming nuptials! Big wedding? Small?

My dude and I met online about two years ago. We were comfortable with each other from the beginning and connected really quickly. We fell in love after a couple of months of Skyping, I met him in the UK, and it just snowballed into a giant ball of awesome. Neither of us were the kind of people we expected to marry. I realized that he's not the "type" I thought was "my type", but he's exactly "my type"; I just didn't know it (if that makes any sense). We got engaged within six months of first talking to each other and married six months after that.

And now here we are.

Isn't funny that we end up with people we never think we're looking for? But its the best thing in pur lives? Thats how mine was, and yes we disagree or have spurts where we disagree, but hes exactly what I needed, though I never would have guessed ot when I met him.

We started talking, over 2 yrs ago, but then didnt talk for 7 months or so, I went to China to meet someone else, but it didnt wok out, I also met my now gf briefly, and really liked her when I got home, after a few weeks I wrote to her telling her I liked her and would like to get to know her more, she told me she liked me too, but didnt think I could stick to one woman etc, any way, she came here to visit me 6 months later and we have spent of about 18 weeks together.

I'm curious how did you convince her you could stick to one woman? Must be some woman to keep you!

Yeah the flu is going around, I had it on boxing day And now I have a HORRIBLE cough!!! I already told you this, but it bears repeating!

Stay healthy! It was a horrible fall for me... and now everyone around me is sick with either the flu, a cold or something worst. I'm hoping for strong immune system. Does dreaming of somewhere warn or fun keep those horrible germs away?

I am not sick... yet. Only 1 of my friends is sick... so far. However, my massage therapist/wedding photographer is coming over tomorrow with her kids (they are in love with my cat because she's too lazy to run and hide when they attack her). I have a feeling two kids + my crappy immune system + asthma = flu. Bah!

Random question actually regarding immigration.... Since I'm in Alberta and married, I have healthcare. I would like to go to the doctor and get some issues addressed since I HAVE THE TIME SINCE I CANT WORK (not bitter).... but I'm worried I'll somehow get flagged excessive demand. Does anyone know if AHC and CIC would share my records? I included a copy of my healthcard in the application as proof of relationship (dependant on hubby's account). I have.... several conditons I believe I need looked at, most which are chronic. I'm just worried CIC will get access to my information and change their minds about my medical status.

It doesn't matter, you're a spouse, so there's no issues My friend's husband had a really bad goiter in his neck, it was VERY obvious, and yes the doctor noted it. He is applying for citizenship next year, so obviously he got in
