Looking for Job as Project Mgr

Hi All

I am looking for job as IT Project Mgr or Project Coordinator in Ontario region. I am Permanent Resident and have over 10 years of work experience in Information Systems and around
5 years experience in Project Management.

For last few days I am trying via Workopolis and Monster. But yet not a single response.

- I don't have any Canadian experience.
- My CV is in Canadian format
- I am keeping patience.

Any tips from seniors?

In addition to workopolis and monster, you should visit the web sites of large companies in your area. Many companies have job posting sections on their own sites as well.

If you have only been applying for a few days - then it's far too early to hear a response yet.

Hi Rambo,

I am also having the similar exp as you.
But I am still in India and planning to come to Canada in Aug time frame.

Do keep us updated on the progress.
I am very interested to know how'z your search is going and about your success in finding the job.

I saw some good openings in craigslist.ca (software job section). You can look there.
Also, look for jobs in linkedIn. Saw some good openings there as well.

All the best for your search and do write more on your experience.

Have you tried applying also to "out of province" jobs? i.e. Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba...or you restricted your search within Ontario only?
