This Eid day comes with a surprisingly joy as i got my PPR1 this afternoon without any addition of line of receiving medicals..its just 40 days before i submitted my medicals..
Thanks to Almighty..
But one thing was missing..The email says that "my application is in final stage of processing ..Attached is the letter requesting the passports copies etc etc"
But actually there was no letter attached..plz tell me if anyone got PPR1 , is there any kind of letter attached with the email requesting the passports copies?

ECAS status has now changed to "Decision Made", but it still shows my current address. I have seen some discussions where applicants have mentioned having it changed to Canadian address.

Got PPR just 4 days after 'Medicals Received' line was added.

Now 'Decision Made' line has been added just 3 days after PPs were received at LVO (and without an address change).

Is it something for me to worry about, or am I going crazy?!?

Please comment.

Congrats on your PPR !

When I got the email, they attached a letter asking to send the Updated Information sheet , photos and passports. If you are in a country where passport copies are sent before sending passport then you should have a letter attached requesting you the same.

If there is no letter attached , you could email them back informing about it . Maybe they forgot to attach :

Cheers Lovie... And thanks! I have read mixed opinions from people on other discussion boards with regards to sending PR cards via courier and that the govt discourages the practice. At one place even read that since records are now online so they may hold issuance of PRC if they see that the PR has exited already... or, could possibly ask for the PR to collect it personally!

If we have any recent examples where PRCs have been issued and sent to the given address in Canadac while the PR has returned after landing (and then the PRC has been sent via courier by the relative/friend), then it will be great!

Well, in my case I have no option but to leave at the end of my vacation as I have to join my job back and there is no way I can extend it. As far as I know , my brother says , its possible to do this way , he checked. Anyhow , I believe there is always a middle way out , solutions to problems are usually never extreme , so I am hopeful of an easy way out if they won't issue the PR card to a designated individual.

Similar situation here. Will have to return for the final pack-up etc. Nevertheless, will see when time comes - but good to plan out things... and this is what we're doing until we receive the passports back with Visas

I know it's going be MAD when it is time to move, finally. God willing.

Most probably they might with your medical request , as the validity of the PCC is only 3 months.

Hi Neeta

The DMP will just do a couple of blood tests, chest X ray and Urinalysis. If everything is OK they wont probe further, but at times detailed investigations are needed.
