Thanks a lot for your reply. This is the e-mail we received from London on August 8th

"On 30 July 2012, a letter was sent to your mailing address requesting that the applicant submit her passport for visa issuance. This email is to request that you do not submit the passport at this time. The officer in charge of the application has determined that further background checks will be required which will likely take at least a month to complete".

At the time when we received this, the mailed PPR had not arrived yet. So I did not send my passport luckily.

Yes bro, alhamdulillah finally got it! I still remember the days when we used to be worried about the PER and when most of the other thread (post june 26 thread) members got medicals/visas before us. But alhamdulillah, after much patience we are almost there as well I pray that you get your visas soon!

I intend to land in Calgary inshaAllah somewhere in October/November.

Our couple attended our paper based medical exams on 26 March 2013 and the reports were delivered to LVO on 4 April 2013, while our children who live in Nepal did their web based eMedicals 27 March 2013, and their reports were submitted/uploaded to CIC on 1 April 2013. We had our medical reports absolutely fine but it's been more than 3 weeks no medical results received line added in the ECAS? What do you think could be the reasons of delay? Any idea ? I'd appreciate you if you please share your experience !

It took me one month to see medical line on ECAS. Sometimes takes longer than that
