Hi Folks,

Just a quick update:

We landed on Sunday 26th August. The whole landing process (immigration and custom) took less than 15 minutes for a family of 4. No single question was asked about proof of fund, though we came prepared with everything. We brought our completed list of goods to follow with us and got it stamped by the CBSO official with no hazzle. Very nice and friendly officials all round. We are just settling in now, trying to catch up with other things. I'll keep you guys updated and try to respond to as many queries as possible. Please bear with me if there's a delay.

Yes bro, alhamdulillah finally got it! I still remember the days when we used to be worried about the PER and when most of the other thread (post june 26 thread) members got medicals/visas before us. But alhamdulillah, after much patience we are almost there as well I pray that you get your visas soon!

I intend to land in Calgary inshaAllah somewhere in October/November.

hi, there is nothing strange in your process, you have waited for day3 month. I suggest you keep your calm, it will soon be your turn. Shalom!

There are a number of reasons why I chose Calgary but the most important ones include:

- Relatives
- My field-specific jobs

I think for you, you can land anywhere coz you can practice your profession almost everywhere in Canada

I seriously think that our (MI-1) PPRs ( Medical Done on Feb, March ,April) are on hold for unknown reason.

Otherwise background check for 5 to 6 months doesn’t make any sense ,when the same process of background check completed in 2-3 months for previous applicants

just confirm that they have received your medical and RPRF as I have waited like you then I discovered that they have sent me an email earlier for add. documents but my consultanat didn't inform me which caused more delay in my processing time. I didn't mean to make you worry but just give you my experience and good luck.
