Urgent querry... Seniors pls respond fast

My sister got her visa stamped last week and today she is leaving for Toronto.. My question is that she is carrying US dollar instead of Canadian Dollar, will it make any difference at the airport there? Further does she have to pay fee for PR card there at airport? If yes, then how much?

Please please respond fast

US $ and GBP(UK) can taken along as a proof of funds provided they are equivalent as per the requirement..
No Fee for PR card

the law firm C.Cohen confirmed the ppr and sent to me a copy of it but I don't know why the VO don't confirm or answer as the VO sent MR, RPRF and all other req.s of document updates directly to my e-mail! by the way do u know the validity period of our PR visa type?

I got medical examined on 29th June, and sent (via courier) London Visa office my updated police certificate and schedule A (back ground declaration) form dated June 30, 2012.

In my all initial forms (2009) and updated forms (June 2012) my employer remains same but on 1st July (Next Day after submitting Schedule A and police certificate) I resigned and joined another company same day.

Do I need to update Visa office regarding my new job or remain quite?

Please, advise.

yeah I am hoping to get some good news after Eid , fingers crossed .

My tickets have been booked already since May end actually , even before I had received the medicals .Was thinking of going for a vacation to Canada in October so had booked earlier . Would be going for an 18 day visit and then back to Dubai till I decide on when to move permanently !!

Just missing my passport so much !!!!!!!! ;D

Cheers Lovie... And thanks! I have read mixed opinions from people on other discussion boards with regards to sending PR cards via courier and that the govt discourages the practice. At one place even read that since records are now online so they may hold issuance of PRC if they see that the PR has exited already... or, could possibly ask for the PR to collect it personally!

If we have any recent examples where PRCs have been issued and sent to the given address in Canadac while the PR has returned after landing (and then the PRC has been sent via courier by the relative/friend), then it will be great!

ECAS status has now changed to "Decision Made", but it still shows my current address. I have seen some discussions where applicants have mentioned having it changed to Canadian address.

Got PPR just 4 days after 'Medicals Received' line was added.

Now 'Decision Made' line has been added just 3 days after PPs were received at LVO (and without an address change).

Is it something for me to worry about, or am I going crazy?!?
