Hi M

I think they are just in the process of verifying the results of the medical, so don't worry.

I was just thinking , could it be that they did not receive the medical report for one of your family members, but then later I thought that if that would be the case then they should have written back that" We're awaiting medical results of one member of your family to be received'

Anyhow maybe it would be a good idea to also check with your doc if they sent all the reports. However I feel they are just verifying the medicals, dont worry .

Hang in there !!

Cheers!!

Hey Lovie,

Yes you're right. I also was alarmed for a few seconds but after reading it again, noticed the 'assesses' vs. 'received' difference.

You and couple of other forum members receiving PPR come as hope for the rest of us in the waiting queue.

Hey Lovie,

Just wanted to know if they also asked for POF? I've maintaining my current a/c so curious about the possibilities of being asked for resubmitting POF.

It will also be interesting to know if you received PPR from your IO's email address or the generic LVO email address... and what was the subject line.

It will be good if others who've also received their PPRs could share their experiences around these questions.

Good luck all!

Naah! No change e-cas so far! Will check with bank again next week if the RPRF DD has been encashed. Last time I checked about 2 - 3 weeks ago and it was not!

What's your e-cas and RPRF status?

My ecas was updated yesterday. I have no idea of the RPRF encashment, though.

A question!

Hi Lovie,

I have question here: I finished the medical exam in June. But my UK visa will expire by the end of August. I wonder if I should update my contact address to my home country or I should ask a friend in UK to help me handle the rest. I could not expect LVO to give me visa request within such a short time.

I noticed you got the visa request a few days ago, and you are in Dubai now, while you originally applied for immigration in London. I wonder if you have updated your contact address to Dubai and you will receive you Canada visa in Dubai as well.

Thanks a lot for your time, and look forward to your reply.

Best regards

Hey MIK
I had maintained my funds in the account coz they can ask any time during the whole process, so its always better to keep the funds . I too had a doubt so asked some of the seniors here who advised the same.
Although the possibilities of asking POF again is dim.
I received PPR from the standard LVO email address and there was no subject line .

E case still not updated .

Hi

I live in Dubai and have applied for Canadian immigration from Dubai itself. Most of the applicants from gulf forward their applications to London Visa office. If you will be moving out of London soon before you get your visa you should update your current address.\

If you want one of your friends to follow up your application, I am sorry cant advise you on that , maybe other senior members can advise if this is possible.

Good Luck !!
