I thought I'd share my happy news with forum members...this morning I received medicals for myself and my family (2 adults and 3 children) from LVO.

I applied under NOC2147 and am living in the UK. Application reached NS end of May 2013.

I haven't read the email properly but will post all the details when I get home (currently at work).

Can you Please share your e-case status. Is it showing 2nd line; we start processing.................. ? If so, when did it changed ? What time you got MR Email ?

As per LVO Spreadsheet, he didn't get e-case status update, or either we were not been updated about change of E-case, if any. (NO 46 on spreadsheet)

2.We started processing your application on February 7, 2014.

Looks like they did their checks in two weeks - I think my file was quite straightforward as I only had one employment (I've been with my employers for 12 years).

Just received a reply from LVO in response to my query regarding sent docs acknowledgement

Thank you for your email.

Yes, we have received your documents.

For information: lengthy background checks are now in process for your application. We are unable to advise exactly when they will be concluded but they are expected to take a minimum of 6 months. You need take no further action at this time.

Please consider this information before contacting our office again.

I think, third parties are working on your case; since LVO can't ask them or push them to finish ASAP so they told you to wait for 6 months. This might be from their earlier experience. But your checks may be finished earlier than 6 months.

I wish you good luck for speedy BG checks.

I wonder why did they write the word Lenghty.
