HI MUSLIM 2009 ,

The strange thing about the VO reply is that he mentioned the background checks again ,I thought that getting the medicals meant that all the BckGrnd checks are done and the SECURITY Checks only will start that's why they as foe an updated PCC along with RPRF(at least that's what they requested in my letter along with Medicals)

I always have this tendency that background and security checks terms are used interchangeably to often mean security checks as far as post medical stage is concerned. Their response that "they won't be able to advise when to hear from them" might imply security checks still being handled by an outside agency. Nontheless, a visa officer might still verify info on docs if needed as part of the actual background check at any time during the process (pre and/or post medical stage). Let's wait and see. Hopefully something good would come by the turn of the new year.

Hi bro,

The RPRF was couriered up from Sana'a on 4/10/2010 via DHL and arrived at London three days later.
I requested a confirmation of receipt of the RPRF. I bought the BD from Jordan via an agent and hence I wouldn't be able to track the encashment of the check in my local bank account. the BD was drawn to The Royal Bank of Canada via a Jordanian bank. CHC London usually communicates back enchashment of fees with a receipt. I still have the option to communicate with the Canadian or Jordanian bank to check if the encashment of the check actually took place or else wait for the CHC London receipt.

Hope this answers your query

Regards

thank`s alot for ur replay

thank`s again

This can be in the form of new PCC as i can see they have asked a lot of people for this as evidence in this forum.
I pray that is not the case!

I think you are right, my PCC were expired in October 2010. may be they will ask for fresh PCC.!

When did you submit your 1st PCC? I submited my PCC october 2009, am thinking they might ask me for a new one and this might further delay it. I pray they don't anyway!!!

My police clearing certificates from Pakistan and Dubai were also issued in October 2009. what you think they will ask us for fresh certificates?. Shall we apply for fresh PCC to save the time or shall we wait for further instructions?

Lets wait for further instructions as the medicals was done during the validity of the PCC. God willing,we will get our PPR this month or early next month!!London CHC is just too slow.Imagine, i started my application in June 2007.

Good thing our medical, rprf and pcc request are all together, otherwise it might delay the PPR :)
