You need to ask for a ROE when they terminate your employment.

if you dont mind, where is the father of your child....if you are single ask your bf or husband to sponsor you under common law or spousal

Immigration issues on caregiver's having a baby;

Hi! I would just like to seek for your advice.I am working as a caregiver but right now I am on ei mat leave. I came here last July 2010 and I gave birth on Feb 2011.I wasnt aware that I was pregnant when I got here. I`ve tried applying for maternity benefits and fortunately,it was approved.I am planning to go on vacation to the Philippines by the first week of Jan 2012 before my ei benefit ends.I am returning to work on Feb 2012.My employer was very considerate that she allowed me to keep my baby with me.My work permit will expire on July 2012 and my visa is on multiple entry.I`am planning to submit application for extension of work permit by May 2012. My question is that will there be immigration issues if I go home to the Philippines on January with my baby?coz I heard from a friend that she knows someone who works as a caregiver who went on vacation to the ph but was not allowed to come back to Canada.As far as I remember the immigration officer`from the airport who assissted me when I came here told me that I can go back and forth of Canada without needing to fix my visa coz its on multiple entry as long as my work permit is still valid.But now the situation is different coz I am on mat leave and I have a baby. So I dont know if this still applies to me.Also would it be an issue with immigration if I keep my baby here?I called the ei hotline to ask if I am allowed to go outside of Canada while on ei matleave and they said its fine. My concern here is on immigration.could u give me advice pls,thanks alot!

you'll be fine as long as your work permit is valid and your multiple visa is valid. and make sure to ask your employer a job offer letter confirming you have a work in canada when you come back.
