Yup ur right... it takes 6-7 months upon they transfer my application to CiC vancouver, the MP here follow up my application and soon they will give a decision.. ;D

Your Owp should be in the mail soon or you should call them but check your Ecas first. I believe they are done with May single applicants .

CIC sent me a mail a few days ago that they asked me to restore my status because my work permit was expired already and I no longer have temporary resident status in Canada. I mailed all the documents they want and payed 350$. Now I am really frustrated how it happened and I am worrying about my future very much.

Jean, if you had applied for your PR and OWP they should not ask to you to renew your work permit. You are in the implied status.

Can you girls put your nationality in the table...seems that people that it's not from Philippines are receiving they OWP faster..Am I right or this is just a impression...

i've been reading this for a long time...

How come that they send you a letter? Try to call the immigration and ask about your status, bec you are implied status.
