Dear nekeol and senior members today I received MR with RPRF and proof of funds. I am shot of 350000/- from required funds can I deposit these funds now and get only bank letter showing closing balance. Till july 13 I was in surplus of required funds but for last two moths I withdrawn some money for urgent personal needs. Please guide me I will be thankful to all.

Hello friends

I applied for Caips from cic website and received them in one month. this was electronic file,

after i applied for physical file and its been over 1.5 months I haven't received.

(requested files for my friend who lives in australia)..

anybody has idea how long it takes to receive physical file?

Did anybody submit CAIPS online?

I tried, but when I come to point where I suppose input my spouse name I get this info:

"Note: If you are submitting a request under the Privacy Act for information belonging to someone else, the individual to whom the information belongs must also be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada or currently living in Canada.:"

She is out of Canada and therefore not PR or Citizen

hi dear forum members i have a questions to those who ordered gcms notes and received thier notes.
actually i ordered gcms notes as physical file and today i received a cd from ottawa having 188 pages all these pages are the scaned copies of my forms and documents nothing else.
i want to know that why didn't they send me any work on my file information like when my file transferred to islamabad and security checks and the expected due dates as the other forum members received this kind of information on their notes plz help me thanks

You need to request electronic information, not physical files.

lpn is abbrivation of name sucha as Loura Phillipe etc must be some officer

Hey Guys.
I am about to apply for the CAIPS / GCMS notes at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563E.pdf
I have few questions to ask. I hope i get some answers i am in canada right now with work permit so i will do it by my self
1. is this application GCMS or CAIPS?
2. the first question on the form ask if i want to select Access to information act or privacy act! what is the difference?
3. Section B says select Academia, BUSSINESS, MEDIA, ORGANIZATION, PUBLIC! which one should i use?
4.is it better to use physical or electronic file?
5. Question 5A it says to chose sponsor or sponsored? and B the info i am requesting to sponsor or sponsored? I am soo confused
Last one i have to pay $5 but by wich method? and if by money order, then to whom it will be paid?

hi..i also have d same case..my sister also requested pysical files and it took more than 2 months..they too have our scanned documents..only the last 2 pages are usful..
Re-order them..but this time click electronic files..

I applied for Physical file for my friend on october 7th and yesterday I received letter from authorities that they want extension usually its 30 days but they will take 50 more days after 30 days.

so may be around 2 more months delay because they have too many requests for GCMS for physical file.

is LPN means Legal Practioner Nurse

as my wife was pregnant when she did her medicals

medical status was passed in the gcms notes

whats your view on this??
