Last time I carried cookies and dried mangoes in my checked-baggage and was instructed for secondary inspection. The custom officer let me go after he unseal the packages and sniffed them.jppbaku said:Hi friends,
Any idea regarding carrying food items in luggage(pickles, dry fruits etc) while landing at Toronto airport? One of my friend says there was a news that since march this year its going to be very strict and probably make delay in our landing formalities If we have any food related things in luggage!!!!!!
Anybody have experience please share..............
It wouldn't delay your landing formalities but probably would delay your connecting flights due to secondary inspections.
