There was a gentleman a few weeks back who was asked for an interview after PPR request, just curious as whether the interview was already done and the outcome, questions ask etc

Here is a link to general interview questions that they may ask.

Hello, I'm new to this forum. I've been reading through stories all the way from 2010! Lol.
I started this journey in February, and have been hiding away following up on your journeys everyday!
Figured it was time I stop hiding :)

Here's my very short timeline:

Application filed : February 1, 2016
Application received : February 2, 2016
AOR received : March 10, 2016
SA & file transfer : March 17, 2016
Ecas changed from "Application Received" to "In Process" on March 26** I think
KGN started processing application on : March 30, 2016.

That's it for now, it'll be nice talking and getting to know some of you more.

;D

Thank you! & I know right, I was so surprised lol.
From the day I checked it was 62 days and kept decreasing
Until the other day I noticed it at 36!! But that seems to be the easy part,
now for the hard and long wait.

I've heard about Kingston not changing ecas updates or even starting to process applications until months after, love sit down on people application too long. Sigh.

Lol I waited about 2 and a 1/2 months to get my approval, you never know now that they transferring them faster you might be surprised at how quickly you might get a response from them once there are no hiccups, did you send pc and medical upfront ?

Oh wow, that's more so what I was expecting. But I'm glad that they're moving faster on our side for future applicants. I hope you're right because keeping spouses apart for so long is just cruel! I made sure to send in everything upfront and pay all fees to not risk the 2 month delay. How long does it usually take for Kingston to start processing applications? And by processing does it mean that they are starting to look at it??

I'm not quite sure I've seen some people say 4-5 months, there are different steps but I think after they've had a for 2-3 months you should order your GCMS notes, it can show you whether or not an interview has been waived, etc etc
