The weirdest thing happened today. My hubby before he left for JA got his fingerprints taken for the Jamaican police record. I guess at the same time they ran a RCMP check. We received a RCMP check in the mail today ( I was so nervous when I saw the envelope from the RCMP with my hubbys name on it)...but the fingerprints were done in early January 2015! :o I emailed our lawyer right away and he said it was a good sign that they are working on our file! :)

Oh! The rcmp do checks even if the person has never travelled or lived in Canada ?

My hubby was a temporary worker through the farm working program from 2006-2014. So he has spent quite a lot of time in Canada.

I totally get it. I was honestly so surprised to get it in the mail. It has been over a year since he went in to do the fingerprints and I assumed they sent it straight to the CIC.

Het divinity,

I agree with LDW about 2-3 weeks. I think its less time if they don't request a new PC with the passport request.

Yes I hope they do, I'm going home tomorrow and literally sick about it, other than money slipping away like water I don't want to leave my husband, we're planning to expand our family so I at least hope he'll be by my side for delivery.
