Wait until you get your notes back before you email it might say something about the medicals in them.

Can wait to see the notes. But It doesn't hurt to email. You'll either get a response or you won't. I would try. As long as the webpage says in process. It is weird that some say something and others don't. I just don't understand their "processes" no wonder people are going crazy. Lol

Trust me. I love my country but our immigration process especially for family unification is ridiculous. I think I'm going to send an email next week if i don't see anything update. His medical was even done at a doctor that has electronic filing so CIC had it long before the application

In comparason to other developed countries Canada is seriously lacking with it come to family reunification! :'( It is so frustrating!

I agree! Canada being such an immigration based country really needs to step up their game! Check on Tuesday's. That seems to be the best day to check for sponsorship portion anyway. What a joke tho, if they would just have some type of timelines posted online even, like at this amount of months we do this and this amount of months we do that, it would make the uncertainty and worry a little less... Families need to be together. Believe me I feel it so badly, I have a 7 year old and a 4 month old I'm raising on my own because my husband is in "process" so unfair! Hope all of us get through sooner than expected!

I agree! I have 15 month old that I have been raising pretty much alone since she was 4 months. I pray that we get through faster! I wish there was more transparency with the process.

Keeping my thoughts with you! Fingers crossed its a quick process...I feel so empty inside... So sad and lonely daily. Can't wait to look back on this and thank god it's over!

To all who's gotten their passports back. Did Kingston send back all your proof like pictures and birth certificates and etc with your passports?

The weirdest thing happened today. My hubby before he left for JA got his fingerprints taken for the Jamaican police record. I guess at the same time they ran a RCMP check. We received a RCMP check in the mail today ( I was so nervous when I saw the envelope from the RCMP with my hubbys name on it)...but the fingerprints were done in early January 2015! I emailed our lawyer right away and he said it was a good sign that they are working on our file!

Yupp we got everything back. We never sent original birth certificates but we got all photos and such back.
