Good Morning!!!! I hope so as well, I just got last night and back at work already I miss my hubby so terribly I never thought I'd be in a long distance relationship much less going through this agonizing process, we know cic has the resources and capabilities to make this process faster refugee or not and they haven't just talks and promises after the other (excuse my rant I'm just terribly depressed right now)

I know the feeling, I am only able to visit him twice a year cause my work vacation. Long Distance isnt easy but be strong. The process will be done soon and once it is completed you will look back on this time and be thankful, you were able to make your relationship strong unlike other relationship. I am hoping Kingston keeps up the ppr and my hubby to be here the first of the fall or sooner .

Yes in the meantime though it's driving me nuts lol if we don't hear anything by the end of june i plan to take a leave of absence and we can wait it out together.

Just Wondering has anyone sent any additional info to the V.O that they didn't ask for? When i sent proof of landing fee the other day i sent in my plane ticket along with that but now i'm thinking of sending in additional pics that we've taken I don;t want to bombard them so they think we're trying too hard to so we're geninue, any thoughts??

Yes in the meantime though it's driving me nuts lol if we don't hear anything by the end of june i plan to take a leave of absence and we can wait it out together.

I think about taking a leave or just move to jamaica all the time. I am hoping the notes will bring good news in the coming weeks

I wouldn't send in any extra documents unless the VO requests them.

It honestly does feel like yesterday that I sent off the application and in three days it's gonna be year since! TIME REALLY HAS FLOWN. I can't believe it! I'm nervous yet excited for my new beginning with my husband.

That's good that you have a realistic expectation of when this process will be complete as long as you have that in mind, you can't be disappointed. It'll all be over soon boo!

Thanks for the kind words. We are both just working away and getting ready for the big changes ahead. I am trying to keep a positive outlook on everything and i am a strong believer everything happens for a reason.

I did, every month. I would send updates from my doctor, ultrasound pictures, phone bills and whatever extra I had and it didn't slow my file down.

I didn't think it would slow it down, just didn't want them to think we're trying to hard and then they start to question it or ask for an interview if they weren't planning too lol but i'll just hold off unless something drastic changes and they do need too know.

I sent additional documents last week showing my ticket for Christmas and Easter (tomorrow ) They responded a day later and advised that it had been added to the file. I'm not sure whether its helpful or not but it gave me peace of mind to know that they have everything that I want them to see. There is such a thing as too little but never such a thing as too much when it comes to Immigration. That's just my personal opinion
