Good morning everyone. Hubby pointed out to me this morning that his ecas has finally changed to " in process". We are praying for a productive week with all our files! P.S. hubby is a silent a reader on this thread too shy to say hello lol. Wondering what your thoughts are after finally getting "in process" after so long? We got RPRF in July the bring forward 60 days would have been last week. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Have a great day everyone.

YAY! That's exciting!! I think you guys applied 40ish days before me. I had paid RPRF prior to filing and received in process around august 7th (if I remember right). They are absolutely working on yours now!!

There's been some debate on what in process means. Some people said its and AOR2, some people say it means they are now verifying your file.. I haven't seen any changes since getting it except on my application it add his daughters names.

My MP was able to look into my file and give me some info on Friday that ours is sitting in que for an interview.. not sure of the exact meaning of that either but one of the ladies gave me these links that have been really helpful.

The in process thing is under debate right now. It seems that in August they started giving it to people in batches (early Aug, middle or late Aug).
Basically I think they put it to in process when Kingston receives it. This way CIC cannot refund you if you decide to withdraw your application after its been sent.

hi Sara we also noticed that my step son's name was added last week as it hadn't been there prior! Hopefully some movent occurs soon!

Sorry I havent had any interview experience so I wont be much help. I just wanted to say that its crazy how they expect you to be able to jump on a plane and go to Trinidad. You should call and see if you can do the interview locally if possible.

Hello!!! I am very curious about this because of the news we just received.

Can I ask how did they contact you? Did they just contact your spouse via phone, email or letter or did they contact you as well??

Sometimes at the interview they will keep the passport and issue a visa. This is what I hope happens should my husband get one.

Any info you could give me would be great!

I wish we could be interviewed here in Canada since we are both here but....
I booked tickets this morning for us to go Trinidad - I am taking a week off of work and we are going to enjoy ourselves

I was just reading one of the links and it says you need to include details with each photo. I didn't do that at all
(who it was with/ where we were/ what we were doing/ date/ time)

And the new police clearance was received registered last monday (Sept 14) - no other words.

Hi ladies!

My case notes just arrived via email!! I requested them on august 21st.

They go through his file, listing his travel document info, age, birth place, etc. It shows Medical PASSED but under criminality and security it says not started. We sent his criminal record check in with application so maybe they haven't reviewed that document yet.

It lists his daughters, all the same stats schooling Medicals Passed etc.

It then lists me and all my info.

After that it shows my correspondence with them.

When I received the notice that my portion had been approved.

On August 1st it has a lot of updates, one set of6 sets of notes , mostly my correspondence with them.

Note 3 says created date, august 1, person that created it, and the txt says DD instructed file be sent to INT queue.

Note 4, created same day, same info says Txt: to DD for selection.

Note 5: same date, same info, Text: our age not to be of concern (my husband is 2 years older than me) it lists his girls, one coming, one not. It shows his previous marriage and divorce. It then talks about when and where we met and that my mom introduced us. Date of engagement, date of marriage. Details on our wedding, place, number of guests. The notes on supporting docs that I sent, join accounts, beneficiary, joint bills, proof of travel, proof of joint finances

There are 3 other notes, both emails I have sent and their correspondence back (all prior to august).. nothing else about anything else other than when they send me correspondence via mail that I had been approved as a sponsor.

It seems like the higher the note number, the older it is. New notes get the number 1 and the rest drop down.

The last email I sent was on august 26th and it is the note #1 if that makes sense..

I emailed Friday inquiring about progress, giving my latest fetal assessment update (Ive been doing this every 4 weeks or so).

Here's the response I just got:

Dear Ms. ****

This is in response to your email below.

Your spouse application is currently in the processing queue for initial assessment.

Once an assessment on this file is completed your spouse will be contacted.

booked my trip today nov 2 gonna spend a month with hubby but so stressed one month no work but still bills immigration really needs to get their butts moving they are making people suffer financially this is 8 trips in under two years i am getting so fustrated these days lord help me

Thats so cool about the notes! I ordered mine aug 28th and so interested in seeing what they have to say. The email that you got from them is generic so they probably werent paying attention.
I really hope they are working and start moving things along!
