Patty shop indeed Sheraig.

Nae I was SHOCKED when i saw that, mi couldnt believe it, its as if they take this thing for a joke! I am sure a person retirin will give due notice so that a replacement can be made to ensure people dont sit on they asses waiting for nearly two years for what takes 4 months in other countries... i bet the files still there gathering dust. I am so angered!

Are you telling me that after i have paid the RPRF and sent in my redos and originals i still cannot get a call requesting my passport? his is ludicrous! sad to say i am not expecting anything soon cause with my expectations only disappointment follows :'(

They got the questions...they just summarized them and posted it as one....

It seems to me that he is of the mind to focus mostly on economic migration than family class.

Hi gang, sorry didn't get your post in time, thanks Jammy for sharing. It seemed to be politically driven with the oppostion questioning Kenny about refugees and ethnic groups. The discussion re: family class was to compare re-unification of families to highly skilled workers that will come to Canada and pay taxes. Like our spouses won't become active, hard working tax payers. Concerns about immigratnts getting entry level jobs that do not pay well. They need to consider that as sponsors we also work and help support the family and in many cases the double income meets or exceeds the avg for Canadians. Would it be better for us to take our tax $'s to a different country that will allow us to be with our spouses.
Sorry for the tirade, they just piss me off

Canuck, see that is something I don't understand! We are not talking about people here going on welfare, and not to toot my own horn or anything, but the qualifications I hold would ensure a damned good living for me and my husband when combined with his income, plus a nice chunk of change for the tax authorities! How can they make it so hard for us, and yet there are people walking into the country and going on welfare immediately with no hassle??? Many spouses ARE highly-skilled workers, they are not coming over there to sit down. Geez, to quote my husband. /rant

Hi all newbie here. Came upon this forum about 3 days ago while doing my research for permanent residency. Good to see a forum for us Jamaicans :)
