May 17th (Today) ECAS updated to Medical Results Received..... I am happy I know its not a lot, and I know its not the best news ever,

But I just wanted to share it anyways..

Not sure what that means at this point because I submitted the medical with the application so saying it was received must mean that they are reviewing it...

Don't want to get to get my bubbles burst by getting too Excited/Sad. ;D ;D ;D but its still good news right?

Anxious ...I dont want to excite you too horribly BUT it sounds to me that they are finalizing your file girl ...Applied in december Aor recieved and requested documents ....Expect that call for PP very soon ...dang KG is processing these newer files like CRAZY ....Like it seems to me that file recieved on and just b4 2010 are getting prority or something ...Its just crazy ....I can just IMAGINE tommarrow you will be saying he cgot called for PP ...the last step before PP request is medical review ...and because all steps have been completed looks like you are done ...Expect your call for PP...unless they are still in background checks ...BUT i have a strong feeling your through ...So no bubbles burted intented ...YAH IT LOOKS LIKE GOOD NEWS FOR SURE !!!

Yay Anxiouslywaiting! That sounds like a good news. I know I felt the same way last week when hubby's file updated to Med's received and within an hour of me checking he got a call to drop off PP. So here's hoping you'll have even more good news by the end of the week! ;D

hey i was just wondering is there a landing fee that needs to be paid

i already paid 490, 475 and 75 dollars
is there a 4th fee i need to pay? in order for him to land in canada

Realyst.... Nope! you seem to have already paid all the required fee, $490.00 is the PRF. ( Permanent Residency Fee) and the $475.00 is the application fee, and the $75.00 is the fee the sponsor (you) pay so I think you got it all girl no more fee... ;D

Girlllllll you just need to relax and wait for that PPR call and go buy your hubby is ticket its all good!

Welcome to the newcomers Great place to spend your time while waiting to get your life back!!

I have no updates...still just waiting as usual, hubby went to KG yesterday and didn't even get in...they have changed their system open to the public only tuesday and thursday!!!...so a waisted day for him and now we are really getting down with this BS...KG doesn't care about anything or families being together and it will NEVER make sense to me why they have kept us apart for such a long time, I am so sad right now and not sure what to do....I am going to my corner for awhile and curl up...I wish everyone a great week and hopefully it seems some will get news soon...

Okayy thanks Anxious i knew i paid them all its just that yesterday at my husbands interview the IO told him that he needs to make sure that his wife pays his landing fee or else he wont get a call to bring in his PP. Shouldnt she be able to see that i have paid all my fees?? thats what im not understanding is why she told him that for?

Realys... maybe she was just making sure because you do have the option to pay $490.00 PRF at a later date and some people do take advantage of that option, but the visa will not be issued without that been paid.

They would have sent you a request for payment before the file is completed.

And yes, you are right she should have seen that the fee are paid in full, because you have to submit the receipt with the original application, or they would not even look at the file,

Maybe she was just to lazy to check, but if you are absolutely sure you paid everything you have nothing to worry about.
