Yep! thats why am so shocked .. to tell the truth when I just started I was a bit dishearten at some of the stories 14, 12 months but I also see some great stories too 5 months 4 months as you say girl some people get caught up in the backlog of the system.

because it has been just last year since they change the rules to the new timeline so I guess all those older application seem like they become back log or something.

We all filled out the same application its not like any of us questions are different from the other.. who knows right???

He will be coming back with us in July I have my wedding Celebration in July and its his birthday too so that will be a awesome Birthday present.

Girl I was praying that I would not have to go down there and leave him and come back it would have broken my heart all over again, because it does not get any easier with time....

went to Jamaica 3 times just last year alone and one time to Bahamas.. its too much I don't have to run down there to go see him..

OMG ANxiously thats great news girl!!! r u gonna wait until july to see him? can u cancel ur flight and have him come up as soon as he gets his visa??? thats soooo exciting, but only yesterday ECAS just updated urs to medical recieved, and today he got the call wow!!! wow i hope in our case they are just waiting for the requested documents and then he will get the call ASAP omg im sooooo happy for u

You should be counting the days now? After he gets his visa is he planning on coming asap? or are there things that need to sort out before?

He got the call for PP on the 10th of May and dropped it off on the 11th.

my apps are officially sent...woot woot!!!

I was on both sides of the fence, disheartened because of the long wait most ppl are going thru and hopeful because there are a few that had a short wait. HF and anxouslywaiting...your news has given me hope that maybe our apps will be processed quickly! I'm keeping my fingers crossed and praying for it!

I know what you mean by travelling....I went to JA 3 times last year and 3 times already this year. I'm going again on Jun 19th. God I miss my hubby so much it hurts!! :'( It makes me so mad that he can't even come here for a visit....it's just a bloody vacation for cryin out loud! It's more expensive for me to keep travelling there than it would be for him to visit me. Maybe there is a method to their madness....it's great for their economy - travel & tourism - to keep us coming back.

In the meantime I'll keep working like a dog, extra hours and overtime to keep going...ho hum

Yup... i was one of the ones who travelled 6 times a year as well to JA... i dunno what has happened but for the past 3 years i was getting flights to MBJ for 150 - 200 with tax return flight maximum and it seems that the prices are always around 300-400 for the past 6 months... i couldnt of travelled so much at 400 dollars a go! But now i miss it! - cant complain tho i got my hubby with me now...

nae nae - west jet knew me by name lol... and so did the people at the airport.. the lady at the cash exchange the taxi guys the maitenence worker who always seems to be cleaning the washroon when im there, the fellas at the Margarttivalle bar at the airport... the lady who works at the bob marley shop LOL - when i go there with hubby next he is going to wander wha gwan LOL

KW Hon, I wish I could just book a flight tomorrow but I have a wedding celebration in July.

Talk to him and I say OMG I want to come down tomorrow, you know thats wishful thinking because I already book my fight paid for it, not just me but 20 other family members travelling from here, so I will just have to wait it out the end is near.. :-* :-*.

As for the rest of our family that has been waiitng 12, 13, 14 , 15 , 20+ months to get throug KG i am MAD FOR you ...I really dont understand what the HELL is going on over there ...Why people who applied later are getting thorugh ...NO OFFENCE to anyone whom got through ...BUT just thinking how may have gotten through in 4 and 5 months is pissing me off ...ITS NOT FAIR NOT FAIR AT ALL...and most of all not right ...I HATE KINGSTON I HATE THEM WITH A PASSION....Just thinking about all that stuff just put mi in a bad mood ...
