HEY everyone thank you for all the support!!!

hubby called me and told me that his interview was very long and they questioned how we met A LOT!
but in the end the IO said she is going to issue the visa all he has to do is redue his police and medicals!!!! ;D

After all the stress and waiting this morning this actually made my day to hear from my husband that the IO was letting him thru!!!!

Go to KG EARLY! That's my sage advice.

I found that if you go at the time they tell you, you still have to "take a number" and wait.

wow thats really good news Realyst im glad the interview went well so u can start making some plans for ur hubby to come home.
thanks for the info i will put the B number on all the info we send to kg this thursday and u r so right we will wait again..... hopefully not for toooooo long who know.
my hubby and i had a civil marriage ceremony in oct and we did the big church family wedding in april so when he flew back the officers at the airport questioned him briefly they say that the resident application was already in process luckily they let him through without any problem and he returned to JA two days after the wedding. so this weekend im going on my honeymoon!!!!! cant wait!!

This is great news Realyst ... I am very happy for you and your hubby. Least you know one headache is over and done with.

All he has to do now is redo his police clearance and get those damm medicals back in and he is set to go. Keep in mind though that this is not a speedy process again. It may take you about 2-3 months before he gets his PPR with visa issued.

It's just how CIC works Unless he is lucky to get a really really nice IO with a heart that understands the situation

My current address on my CIC's file is my address in Canada. I don't want to change that address to my GT address because mails over here take forever to reach to the home address. Very slow, stupid post office we have here.

EX, my neighbor got sponsored by her hubby from the US, had her interview 2x. VO in GT sent her a mail to uplift her Visa and she never got the mail. Instead she had to call the PO to check see if anything came under her name and that alone takes a year to do over the phone. Anyhow, her letter was issued the following week she had the interview and she got it 4 weeks later.

Another reason too is mails tend to get lost on its way to GT and NO ONE is every held accountable except for the sender or recipient.

My question now: Has anyone ever done this? If so, does CIC penalize people for doing this? My sponsor gets all the letters and information etc. I am paying my RPRF and on the slip to send in to CIC asks for address. Does my sponsor put his information or does he put my information including my address on file?

Any urgent help is appreciated guys

Realys: Thats awesome at least he got that part out of the way because that is the most nerve-wrecking part of the process. as you never know what to expect. very happy for you and you husband.

KenWife.........We also had a small ceremony last year, and went to the Paradise Island/Bahamas for our honey moon..

We are having our official huge Wedding/Celebration in July, I hope everything will be done by then, My God I am so praying..

I cant marry him twice and leave him out there, it would literally kill me to have to come back without him ....

Air travel is not Cheap!!!..

Yes confuse i am white.... welll actually my mother is half jamaican really light skinned she was born here her father my grandpa is a jamaican also lighted skinned .. now my mother got with a white dude (my father) before she got with my step father of 25 years whom happenes to be 100% percent Jamaican so i am more white than anything cant see a trace of black in me BUT lord knows it there ..My sister who is 1 year younger than me look likkle browner outside a dat mi just gwaan cause well mi clear like whooo ...so your a coolie ...dang dat a way old jamaican slang that goes way back ..alhtough i still use it i havent heard noboddy pan yah use it LIKE ...NEVER!!! Even my husband is light skinned (browned) but for some reason our datwa between us both is as dark as his pickney weh not mines and is 100 percent jamaican...lol the blood still runs ...DWL ;D ;D ;D

RealyStg we seem to be on the same timeline, only with you they requested an interview, nothing from them yet only know that my file is under/up review. Hope the interview went wel, like many others have said on here, they jus prolly want to get some more info on your relationship.

When does the medical expires if he did it in September 2009 is it good until September 2010

Yea mon, coolie is a derogatory term used against people of east indian decent. It's like using the N word for black people.

In Hindi (language spoken by Indians) the term 'coolie' means SLAVE or anything along those lines.

Honestly, it doesn't really bother me if someone uses COOLIE in every sentence cuz I know that I am not what the word truly signifies.

My Jam coworkers at the LCBO used to call me a COOLIE RASS

Anxious the med is good for 1 year...so yes you are correct about september 2010 ..Now the police record cannot be more than 3 months old when KG recieves it ...As for expiry on police checks there is not one ...It is totally up to the I/O wether or not they need one done again generally if your med is stil valid when they request PP then they dont usually make you redo ...and if it expired then expect to redo the police check as well !!

U remind me so much of my a friend i have in england, she was also the manager for where i worked at the time. same vibes she have like you, white gyal but chat patios like any jamaican and married a jamaican too.
