Should we be worried that we have not got an AOR from Kingston yet? I only know the date that Kingston got it because of the notes.

Nev told me the othe night no one gets one.. I was worried too..
I don't know if it made it there and it doesn't say med's attached.
We sent the meds in with the app... She only got hers through her MP
after some persuasion. May try to see through notes after I mail the
permission papers to Jamaica and get them back... whenever Lol

In my most recent email to Kingston I asked them to explain to me how they claim to process in order of receipt when people that have applied after me have already landed.

I got a copy/paste response that didn't answer any of my questions including this one... :

If I hear one more person say that each application is different I'm going to scream. Of course there are differences but we are all completing the same application!!! In the end we all want the same thing and they can't all be entirely different. If two people applied in March 2012 and both of their spouse's have never left the island, no criminal background, are healthy, no previous marriages, and no children, how different can those applications really be? So how does one of those applications get processed in six months and the other person is still waiting at 19 months? :

hey there sis i sure do agree with you on that..... i hate it when ppl say that all the application are different... to me the only different in a application is the persons and there evidence that is provide. but all the application have to go thru the same process. and i know that kingston or any other embassy around the world process all the application in order the was receive.. that is total bull crap... i been waiting over a year now and im still waiting and ppl that applied after me got tru and in canada with there spouse. Which im very happy for those ppl yes but on the same hand the government need to get this problem fix

dont be worried if you did not get an AOR.... as long as kingston have your application in there hand then it should be good to go

Hey there, I think it is NBC but it can be watched on CTV also.

This process has effected me on every possible level, and it will be a struggle to work thru them all but we will all make it!

THANKS chickie...I don't wish to offend anyone when I say trust the almighty.. I waited five years to be united with hubby. I know how difficult it is to wait. But I also know if that time did not pass and we got to know each other better.. we would not be together. I give thanks for the time immigration and other life changes work to delay the process. It was hard but all things, good or bad must be brought under subjection. One can be angry and sarcastic about the delays but I know that our lives are bigger than the process.. For those who know all things work for good, then each passing day of silence means a day will come of triumphant shouts. I am not really "the tell you what you want to hear person", even if you give me a -100. JAH IS GOOD! PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE. I know 99% of the folks here have found a perfect love but for the 1% who is here rolling in the deep, give thanks for time to grow in love.

If you have your notes then you know that your file is in Kingston so what is the worry?

Hey there, i don't believe that any love is the perfect love.....no one is perfect but when you find your soulmate then nothing can seperate that love. There are days when you will fight, argue and cuss each other but making up is the best part. I find that the biggest thing in any relationship is to have communication and believe me, we have all the time in the world right now so use that time and communicate with your loved ones.

everyone is SUPPOSED to get an AOR but no one in Kingston has ever gotten one! That is why we tell all the new people to email Kingston to find out if they have your file and I am pretty sure you did that........that is the closest you will get to an AOR from Kingston. They don't ever do anything by the book ;D
