I did see Tessanne's audition, gave me goosebumps.. I am happy you are making time/finding ways to distract yourself throughout the process. Saves you from going nuts.. Do you know that this process is so intense that it will affect you psychologically even when it is over. As your hubby slips, you know how men sometimes speak without thinking, you will immediately go back to the moment when you had to wait for his arrival.. the pressure, the expense, the forever waiting.. Immigration does not even realize that this process compares to some serious life changing situations.. so much rides on this decision. So enjoy yourself in anyway you can while you wait. I am rooting for Tessanne as well. Do you know which channel brings the show or the line up.

Hey there, I think it is NBC but it can be watched on CTV also.

This process has effected me on every possible level, and it will be a struggle to work thru them all but we will all make it!

Dlmo, I'm sending you positive vibes and you should worry too much, we have no control over anything in this process. Your hubby needs to be honest in his answer and your love should irradiate from him. God will be helping him to go through this.

working on our sponsorship application ! overwhelming, I began by studying the process and the paperwork. We married in September in JA, Here is where my concern, none of my family/close friends did not attend due to a variety of reasons finances, work and health. my parents and sister called me the day of the wedding and we stayed in contact throughout the blessed day..the wedding was attended by his family and our friends. My family will write letters of support will that help. As for the paper trail required, there is no emails, our contact was by phone..he called me every day for the past 15 months..and I have a few bell canada bills for a few months (large bills) I stopped calling him as its cheaper for him, I would buy topup cards and have a small stack of the cards.

question, is digicell able to provide his phone records?? and can I include the top up cards and letters of support (is that good) from my family as they explain why they could not attend.

I think your hubby can go into Digicel and request the phone records, as for the letters of support, they are great to add to your application, because they will question why your family did not attend.

Your hubby can call Digicel and request his phone records and he will have to pick them up in KG or MoBay. They will only provide the last three months. Unfortunately the top up cards are not sufficient proof because they do not indicate who your hubby was calling. You can top up your hubby's phone online and use that as proof because your name is on the account. Your hubby should have a document indicating his phone number which you can also submit as further proof that you are topping up his phone on a weekly or monthly basis.

And you can write a detailed letter explaining everything. Sometimes there just isn't proof to provide like emails.

We tried to get additional call logs from Digicel after our first set and they told us they need the Embassy to request them so we explained that in our application. There will be piles of phone records over the last five years if they want them as proof.

As for me, i have not heard back anything as yet since my interview so look like they are still reviewing my application and evidence that me and wifey gave them. I just wanna say that every one is in my prayers and thoughts. Come on Kingston i know that you out there listening to all our cries so please get us all to our love ones so we can pick up were we left off with our spouse. Just want to send a few shout out to my sistrens: Neveaha you are one in a million. me sure have alot of respect for you and i love reading your post because they are true ....... Chickie you are the queen of this forum. you have been there with me from the first time i join this forum and thank you for all your advice you have giving me ...... Ready Fi Move what can i say about you sis. you and i have been thru alot but one thing i have to say is that you are a very bless woman. No one can take that from you my sis ...... To my bro Child Of God we are going to fly on the new Jamaican airline- Fly Jamaican Airways straight to toronto non stop. things is going to work out for us bro. we all just have to hang on alittle bit longer. i remember when i went to digicel and ask them for my phone record.....they told me that i could not get them because i have a prepaid phone so they dont save any records at all.
