OK SOSO.....I was at work all day ....thinking when I get home I will read about the "SECRET" ....SOSO posted...lol...so now fess up and do tell...what is your secret....I NEED to know (wink)...But if you are moving to JA...should have left during the winter months...wink wink wink... ....

It sounds like you guys will have such a great time Saturday night....I am just so sad I cannot be there to enjoy it with all of you....Please plan another one in the summer months and I WILL attend!!!!! and have a drink for me please 8) ok maybe two or three!!! I love Rum & Coke . :-*

Maple - I was so very happy to read your great news! Congratulations - you deserve it SOOOOOOOOOOOO much I truly hope they issue your hubby's redo forms quickly and process him out of there and home before the May 2-4. Just so so happy for you.

And my last big update to share...in only 2.5 working days from when hubby dropped off his PP, they called him today to come and pick it up - yippee ;D He should be home in the next 10 days or so. So happy. So very, very happy.

Lonely - glad to hear your hubby has landed safe and sound and that you and your family are doing well.

HELPMEPLEASE - 6 weeks since you dropped off PP! Make the time to contact MP office - they all have email, so you can fire a note off anytime of the day. Plus, in my case, since much of the time I was contacting mine they were in session and Ottawa is further away fromme than TO, it was one of his aids/assistants that assisted me. In fact, in the absence of the MP, their aids/assistants have pretty much the same "powers" of inquiry as the MP themselves.

helpmeplease- since this whole process i have emailed kingston about 7 times prior and never yet received a response.......before today I sent the same email twice in january and february.....so today i was pissed off I wrote a new email stating its not professional that i been in process 10 months and they are disregarding my emails...also i pay my money so I deserve a response...so funny I got a response within 20 minutes of the email sent...so I KNOW!!they receive all our emails dem just dont want to reply which is ridiculous......6 weeks since pp call and no response to emails...trust me it looks like when they are not doing anything with ur file dats when they dont respond...extremely disturbing....try another approach...(rude/stern)lol

i'm nervous about contacting my MP for some reason..I have a feeling he is not going to know WTF I am talking about...not too many ppl here deal with immigration so I feel a bit unneasy about it. I'm feeling unneasy about this whole process so I suppose that is normal lol...

I just sent kingston another email...they seem to respond to emails with accusations much quicker from what I've seen on here lol so I added something along the lines of ,was my husbands passport misplaced somwhere??? so hopefully that will get them to respond..I also added that this was my 3rd email as I had not gotten any reply to my last 2 and that it will be 6 weeks on monday....so we shall see...

It seems like you have beat many of the odds that have been presented to so many others... you were able to host your hubby for a visit to Canada during the IMM processing time, conceive a precious child and finally welcome your hubby home before you give birth when so many other had to do it without their husbands.

Yes today is my first day back a work !!!! Hubby is picking girls up from school ....heheh .....so it all good ...I am settling in much better with this whole new change...Last night them girls slept all night....them nuh move ...Y ahhhhhhhhh

quick update.... Kingston work early this morning, we just got the call to pick up the passport... Just a week for us... Less than 4 months here in kingston... Just over 5 in total from the date the application was mailed... (5m 5d including christmas)... Feels good to be done... Anticlimatical in many ways and leaves me with some tough decisions... Good ones but tough ones still...

Hopefully we aren't the only ones to get the good new today!

Good morning all, I don't do alot of postings, but I've read the postings. I have a question, can anyone advise at what point KG starts to count the processing time, is it from when CPC-M approves the app. or when KG start processing the app? THanks in advance

Good Morning All...

Hi Kimore.. it is from the time KG receives the file. So add about 1 week from the time CIC missisauga approved your sponsorship and sent the package to KG.

Congratulations on all the updates! I am a little disapppointed that some of the old timers are taking much longs and really hope that KG catches up on those files soon
