Hello everyone and Halfmoon
I hope Kingston gets busy this week especially for all those who are patiently waiting for a long time.
Halfmoon - hope hubby is just as fine as you and that things are progressing very well.
Hey Tammyball.
Thanks for your well wishes. Things have been really busy and hubbie is settling in nicely. We finally found a great barber and he had his first line and trim yesterday! He's bouncing around with his tail high up on his back!! He has two more interviews this week for several other opportunities (one today actually) and is completing his smartserve exam this evening so he can be versed about the liquor law and licensed in Ontario. Am really proud when I see him in front of the laptop for hours at a time studying and writing notes for the exam. Have several great opportunities awaiting the license to work at some of Toronto's hot spots and get his foot in the door to pursue his passion in the music entertainment industry. He's super happy and excited.
One of our routines we've picked up is our "pillow talk" everynight where we just lay in bed in the dark and discuss our short and long term plans. It's great because we really connect conversationally without the TV on or any distractions, run jokes, share our most intimate thoughts and go to bed with these ideas leaving it to the Universe to work on our behalf. It's pretty powerful!!! I say this because we used to have pillow talk from miles apart and it's amazing how our plans are unfolding and coming to fruition now that we are together.
Here is something I heard from a David Copperfield interview this weekend, Passion, Preparation and Persistance. When I heard this, I said, that has got to be one of the best and simplest formulas I have heard summed up in 3 words!! Add that to the two guiding principles I live by, what are you good at (I mean really good at where you can get paid for) and what is it that you absolutely love to do (you would do it without any compensation)? Just some food for thought. The journey continues............
Wishing every one here an amazing journey each day with their loved ones whether near of far and always know that this long ass distance journey will come to a close and that you are even closer today than you were yesterday.
Big Love.
