So I guess I won't be getting any help here then? Its not really thatb my parents file for me. My dad applied for permanent residence for me, my mom, sis and himself because he got a job and was nominated in the pnp. We are all currently living in jamaica.

Go back to the home page of the forum and go to the "PNP Program" instead of Family Class". They might not have a thread for Ja. but they have treads by month and year. You can also start a topic for Kingston and ask if there anyone else in your position. Don't worry so much. "In-Process" is a good thing. It will be over before you know it.

I can't imagine what that moment feels like when your hubby calls you and tells you he got the call to send in his passport, then you actually look for his flight and meet him at the airport, drive home knowing you are together forever. No more having to leave each other at the airport. Man, I think I'll go into convulsions when we get our call.

Our ecas was updated in October 2012 to say we have begun processing your file. One month later they requested my husbands second medical as the first one had expired. We are now waiting for the call for him to send in his passport. I got my MP involved and they told him nothing is wrong with the app just normal processing time. I think I have the slow lady though. No disrespect, but girlfriend is slow :-\

i think you need to contact your mp to do an enquiry or order your notes
11 months and thats what you get thats some bs right there

But looks like same as my email. Not been started yet inline for 'Initial review'. It's been since august since.my transfer Not even past step one.

i don't think so after 11 months they have to had done some work on your file
there is no plausible reason why they would not have touched your application yet
looking at the way Kingston does things i think that's just there way of telling you
don't call us we will call you
when anada got her mp to inquire with Kingston that is what they said to her as well
and well we all know what happened with her application
so i would not take that as anything

but lets just look at the facts here for a minute
most of us who emailed Kingston has gotten that email at one point or another
some of us have never gotten not one email from Kingston
so my perspective on this all is just because they don't say hey we just did your crimnal background check or blah blah does not mean that they have not looked at your file at all
they are probably working on your file and just not saying

child of god ..you are at 11 months that means your bring forward date is coming up ... because that is at the one year mark ...... they have to have done work on your file
most files that go to the 17 month mark and beyond is due to outstanding issues
i would not worry too much

I still cannot log on. The technical department replied that it will take about 20 days to look into the issue.

I have sent numerous inquiries and only received two responses from Kingston. The last one was Jan. 8th, which stated the generic reply of:

Dear Madam / Sir,


This is in response to your email below.

Your application is in process. No further action is required by you at this time.
We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

I just keep praying that they have done some work as they received the file since May. 29th, 2012

but lets just look at the facts here for a minute
most of us who emailed Kingston has gotten that email at one point or another
some of us have never gotten not one email from Kingston

So the BF date is the date Mississauga received it ? I'm glad to bear that if so

Just want to say ....
I think yours and everyone else's case going through in 7 or so months is what keeps my faith and prayers alive everyday and night. I feel that is what keeps the hope alive right now.
The faster the better for everyone waiting. The more they complete the more they on to a next file..

Any wait is difficult no matter how long it was and we all felt the same at one stage or another.
