i know say it rough babz...... this whole immigration thing is a test of your faith....enduarance and patience but the end reward is sooo worth it ....we are all here to hold your hand till your cross the finish line and beyond ;D ;D ;D

in process means that kingston is working on your file doing background checks and you all should keep your phones close to you because you will probably be getting a call soon for your passports to be dropped off at kingston ....

well no you gonna have to get that done first
for most of us here the medicals were sent in with our initial application because that is how it is done with spousal applications ... not sure how they do it with parental application sorry
maybe you should contact Kingston via email and ask about that

I Contacted my mp and the did an inquiry for me
however there are people on here who there mp's would not help because of the timeline
my only suggestion is it does not hurt to try

thanks. Just wish that day would come soon they moving so slow with some and not with others.

I wonder how they pull the applications out of that queue? It's really depressing to know we waited 6 months since transfered...still movement in the initial review. Seems wrong.

it all depends on your visa officer honey and some files that look like they go through quick there is a background story behind it ..and it may seem like it was quick for us but ...like for myself it seems as if it was only 6 months after kingston got my application we got though but in all honesty we been in this struggle for almost 2 years my first application was lost by mississauga and we had to re apply ....
but all cases are different all visa officers work differently ....

yes mp is member of parliament and the way they help is by contacting Kingston or whatever your home visa office and do an enquiry on your behalf ...to kinda let you know what stage your application is at
