So the BF date is the date Mississauga received it ? I'm glad to bear that if so

What is you bring forward date if I may ask. Usually the bring forward date is the date that they will go back and pick up your file to work on it.. Usually when they have requested something and expect whatever they requested (med, documents etc) to be back.

If your date is close that may be what they are waiting on to finalize your papers.

This Family Class application was received by our office on 11 July 2012 after being forwarded by Case Processing Centre Mississauga. This application is currently pending initial review, after which we will contact the you directly to advise the outcome of the review and any next steps.


CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG BUT TO ME IT SEEM MY APPLICATION STILL HAVEN'T BEEN TOUCHED EVEN THOUGH 11 MONTHS HAVE PAST.

They touched it, they just haven't updates your ecas as yet. If they need anything they will contact you. Other than that you will not hear a peep out of them and they will not tell you how far they are.. And usually they dont tell you until they are almost finished or finalizing everything.

I wouldnt worry to much as they dont give much info at all. But I highly doubt that your application has been sitting in an office for 11 months and noone touched it.

i know you saying yeah right ready you can say anything your husband done got through
but lets just look at the facts here for a minute
most of us who emailed Kingston has gotten that email at one point or another
some of us have never gotten not one email from Kingston
so my perspective on this all is just because they don't say hey we just did your crimnal background check or blah blah does not mean that they have not looked at your file at all
they are probably working on your file and just not saying

child of god ..you are at 11 months that means your bring forward date is coming up ... because that is at the one year mark ...... they have to have done work on your file
most files that go to the 17 month mark and beyond is due to outstanding issues
i would not worry too much

I too, applied in March and:

1) Kingston NEVER responded to the email I sent them in December
2) My MP's office did an inquiry on my behalf in January and they confirmed a) my application was in KG b) KG rec'd my email c) KG rec'd the additional documents I submitted in January
3) I ordered my GCMS notes and a) there are no notes made by any visa officer b) all statuses say not started except for the medical which says passed

Sooooooooooooooooo, I do believe it is entirely possible that nothing was happening with my application up to January 8, 2013 (which is the date the GCMS were processed). However, I hope and pray that things started moving on Janaury 9!!!!!

June 26 is the day they approved you to sponsor.. it take a few weeks to get to Kingston.. You would only know a BF date if you order GCSM notes. (which I would do since your file has been there since then)

My approval date was June 27th and my file was finished January 23rd.. Would have been finished sooner but I was no prepared.. Had to send a few documents that I left off..

Well if thats the case... They got plenty people out so YOU should have been started now! And it dont take that long for them to process those things especially if you have a straight forward case..

the bring forward date is the date that Kingston will pick up you file agian to look at it. They seem to look at your file in different stages and different parts go to different areas ie criminal, admissibility, etc and each time it goes somewhere else they put a bring forward date on it for them to come back and look at it to see if certain parts are complete if they r then they will move onto a next stage of not they will put a new being forward date on it and it won't be checked again until that time

So they received it July 11th and whenever they need something from you, you will hear from them.. Other than that you probably won't know anything until they are finished.

AS FOR THE ECAS MY FILE NUMBER STOP WORKING. ONLY THE CLIENT NUMBER WORKS. IT STILL SAYS "APPLICATION RECEIVED AND MEDICAL RECEIVED"

We only sent a copy of his JA birth certificate cause his was all ripped n torn. He is trying to go get a new one next week incase they ask for that...
What else do they ask for when that beautiful day arrives for PPR?
