You brought tears to my eyes as that is what my hubby says, "things are happening as they should". Nothing is more real than that. He always reminds me to take each day as it comes and to try not to focus on things that we have no control over.
I need to focus on the positive and your right....as my ticker says....each day is one day closer.

Howdy howdy! Sandy blowing some winds our way tonight! Ugh, it was a wet, windy day out there today.

From what I have observed, "medicals received" is no longer a sign of impending finalization of a file. It USED TO BE. About 2 years ago when I first came to this forum, it was the case that KG would request the medicals as the final step and seeing "medicals received" on eCAS was a sure-fire sign you were in the PPR stage. That is no longer the case, as apparently CPC-M is now responsible for uploading the medicals.

When your application is received at CPC-M, it says "application received". It will change to "decision made" when the sponsor is approved. There is no "in process" stage here, as this is a simple check to make sure the sponsor meets the eligibility criteria and there is a completed application which will be sent to the VO. You MAY see "medicals received" at this stage.

When your file gets to KG, your spouse's section of eCAS will switch over to "application received" once the application is uploaded and the file created by KG. If you did not see "medicals received" soon after or concurrently with the sponsor's approval, you may now see "medicals received". From there, it MAY move to "in process" to signal it is close to finalization. I say "may" because this is not guaranteed. In some cases, it may simply go to "decision made" from "application received" and your spouse is contacted for PPR and the other finalization steps.

So that being said, mine must be in Kingston because I have both application received and medicals received on his side of the ECAS.....

omg!! Updateeee!!! So I just checked ecas, and hubby's side now says IN PROCESS. What does this mean????!! I'm so excited yet nervous at the same time. :

So I checked my emails. Just noW and I noticed that the tracker had sent me 3 emails.

. So I opened them and it just says status now says medicals have been received...

Now I noticed this almost a month ago... But never got an email from etracker..

What does this mean? Was the tracker down?? I signed up almost 2 months ago.

And second, what is this "columns" you girls keep talking about on. Your ecas.. I don't have any columns. I notice one person says they have 2 columns , then 3???? Very confused! ???

Oh and how do you get a response after a short period.. Hubby emailed them last week and hasn't gotten a response.. I would think that since they started answering people in a matter of days that he would have gotten a response by now.

I can only help you with one of your questions, well not really help but mine says medicals received too and I have not never received an email from etracker either......and I joined that like in February.....

i wanna share alittle story about my filing......my wife is filing for me right now....you know that when my wife called the cpc-m and talk to the immigration officer......she was told that they need additional information but they could not tell us what it is...they told here it was in the letter they send out to her. the letter would be the approval letter that she was suppose to get. they told her when the letter was sent out and even gave here my file number and before she got the letter.....we started to get anxious the our lettere from them was on day way... we waited about a week and no letter so my wife call them back and told them that she did not get any letter. they told here she had to wait one month before she can call them back if the letter dont come. which she did not get any letter for them in the time they told her to call back...she when she call back now anf talk to them.. come to find out the sent it to the wrong address so my wife gave them the right address so that is a big mistake on there part....we finally got the letter on june 11, 2012.......letter stating that everything was good and nothing about any additional information requested....so we are here waiting now so my wife tell me that she is going to email kingston office and she if they can give her any detail on my filing...take a stock she got a reply from them about 2 weeks lata...but this is what trip me out........it was the wrong information they email back to her....they emaled and person information to here.....lmao....so i call the person which live in toronto and explain to them about the mishap and got my wife to forward the email to her.......so immigration is fucking up big time now

same here....ecas tracker just sent me updates last ight after months....


WELL Congrats are def in order Ceellen........we must have different officers cause mine should then be in process too....Genuinely pleased to hear movement on your part, gives me more hope that mine is being processed too....just wish i could actually see an 'in process'...would sure make me feel a whole lot better.
