LOL!! I had to apply for my kids citizenship and also find my application after I sent it to the wrong address as per the doctors office. Also have the number of the VO they send the medicals too..

I stressed them out when I was looking for my package so that's probably why they taking so long with hubby's file .. But who cares, they nah stop us!!! Home for Christmas!! SPEAK IT!

Its been a while, school is in full swing midterms, assignments, and papers. Happy to hear there has been progress for some. On the other had this Government is really getting to me.

Apparently, families are not a concern for the Canadian Government only sources of income. Not surprised. There should be separate allocation for spouses/children.

I have been reading about these case notes that everyone has been talking about. I had my MP file an inquiry only to find out they have not even touched my husband's file, not a note, or entry to date. Our application was received by KG since May 29th. Typically when are notes placed in the file and when should you request to view them?

So naturally, I want to blow a gasket right now! Woosah! Woosah! My MP said to give it until November and she'll contact the Embassy herself. With that being said, its been 22 weeks since that file has been in that office shouldn't there be a check mark at least on the file?

I've been gathering my articles, audits, and papers on the racism that is involved in the immigration selection process. I am about to get viral with this delay on our families, inconsistent practices, and "dodgey" immigration office in Kingston. Forget Christmas, Husbands, Wives, Children, and Family need to be home NOW!!!

i agree 100% about the level of hateration, racism, and discrimination at that office.

im having faith and saying YES ...but same time hoping no woman is there working on my file....although u have some man that act like woman and hate same way.

there are soooooooo many whites that go down there, and end up marrying jcans...that we all look like a visa...or that our men are in it for that sole purpose.

they are prejudice against age, color.....etc.

we shall see...if God is for us then who can be against us right.

pains me when i here that ur file been there 22 weeks with no movement....scares me.

WTH!!!! 22 weeks ans they haven't even touched your file!! SO technically what you are saying is that although they say 16 months, they let your application sit for 4 to 10 months and work on it for 6 months... That's some foolishness! Obviously they need more help..

I guess it really ain't about family then..

Sad part is all we could do is sit and wait and hope that they will be nice and open our files soon..

Yes there is alot of racism going on in the embassy......and why i say this is because some people get through with there filing very fast and the you have other people take forever to get through........it have to be something wrong with that situation...im not hating on the ppl the get done quick but let all the application get finish in a suitable time than this long forever waiting....i sure dont want to wait until christmas for my papers to finish.......i wanted it to finish by yesterday.....my wife is here in jamaica visiting me right now for two weeks....she had to do surgery before she go here and im here hubby and i could not even be there in canada for her surgery because if the long process that we all are going through......she is very much ok now but the filing thing have to change for the better and not the worst...
