Its been a while, school is in full swing midterms, assignments, and papers. Happy to hear there has been progress for some. On the other had this Government is really getting to me.

Apparently, families are not a concern for the Canadian Government only sources of income. Not surprised. There should be separate allocation for spouses/children.

These are good things to know for when the next election comes around. Out with the Conservatives in with the NDP.

Yes there is alot of racism going on in the embassy......and why i say this is because some people get through with there filing very fast and the you have other people take forever to get through........it have to be something wrong with that situation...im not hating on the ppl the get done quick but let all the application get finish in a suitable time than this long forever waiting....i sure dont want to wait until christmas for my papers to finish.......i wanted it to finish by yesterday.....my wife is here in jamaica visiting me right now for two weeks....she had to do surgery before she go here and im here hubby and i could not even be there in canada for her surgery because if the long process that we all are going through......she is very much ok now but the filing thing have to change for the better and not the worst...

if it really was on a first come first serve.....kisssssssssss teeeeeeeeeet

There is no consistency at all. I can understand that some people get through faster than others due to paperwork, interviews, checks etc but I REALLY don't think that there is any reason for there to be such a drastic difference. And this problem could be solved easily if they just document what's going on.. If you can order these GCSM notes, why cant you pay a fee and they make it accessible through the website, that way people don't have to order it, a IO doesn't have to go and try put it together to send and take up valuable time, and everyone can be happy. People can check this when they want to, see what's been going on, find out everything under the sun and don't have to bother the IO or VO for nothing...

With all this technology, why are they acting like a third world office?

Plus.... None of us will be here going crazy.. Instead we would be talking about what done happen, what we waiting on and what's next..
Ahhhhh.. if life could be so simple..

I have been reading about these case notes that everyone has been talking about. I had my MP file an inquiry only to find out they have not even touched my husband's file, not a note, or entry to date. Our application was received by KG since May 29th. Typically when are notes placed in the file and when should you request to view them?

So naturally, I want to blow a gasket right now! Woosah! Woosah! My MP said to give it until November and she'll contact the Embassy herself. With that being said, its been 22 weeks since that file has been in that office shouldn't there be a check mark at least on the file?

I've been gathering my articles, audits, and papers on the racism that is involved in the immigration selection process. I am about to get viral with this delay on our families, inconsistent practices, and "dodgey" immigration office in Kingston. Forget Christmas, Husbands, Wives, Children, and Family need to be home NOW!!!

My file has been there roughly about the same amount of time as you....no movement....that sucks! I just ordered my GCMS notes and I think I will freak out if there is nothing beside them. Now I have to wait and fret for 30 days until they come.

But I am trying to keep the faith as there is nothing else to do but play the waiting game and hope and pray that all of our men will be here to experience the wonders of Christmas in Canada. Snow...snow...snow...I can't wait till he sees and feels it ;D ;D

oh and as crass and rude as i sound....my profession entails knowing how to effectively communicate and deal with ppl at all levels.....so its not like im emailing them tell them to go sukk *******........(lol)


oh well....anyhow...Xms would be nice, birthday would be nice, but least i can rest assure next xmas wont miss him :-\ *****crazy loonie bin laugh**

that is so true Anada....you cant have those kind of ppl working in that kind of establishment everyone should be treating fairly...but that is not the case..it look like it only one immigration officer working in the kingston embassy.....they need helppppppppppppp...............i know that im going to get through....i just have to trust in God......

Hi everyone,

When my MP gave me that information it deflated me and husband however,we prayed and decided that we are not going to dwell or become negative.

My UCI profile indicates that my husband's application was received with the date of February 22nd, both addresses are my Canadian address.
My husband's profile with his file number states the same thing his address is his local address.

At this point I have to and will remain positive, I've set the ball in motion with my MP and she said take a more aggressive approach if necessary.

As for the racism and discrimination it is real it is obvious and in this day and age should not be tolerated. The stats are on the CIC website under research. You can also look into the concept of “Race and Space”. Jason Kenney is only concerned with economics and who will generate and bring the most income into the country. If you have $500,000 to investment in the Federal Government you are approved without cause or delay.
