Is it just me or have things seem to have slowed down in JA? No updates for a while!
So, who's up next for an update????

I hate inactivity.

17 days until we leave for JA! Hopefully a week away will be enough to restore our hope and start thinking a little more positive. This month has been really rough for a bunch of us.

To those out West - OMG. I was talking to a colleague this morning and heard it was -27 in Calgary today. yikes. We're expecting snow in TO over the next few days but nothing like that.

homesoon...i think we're all up for updt...since i recd my AOR i march, i have not gotten NE other updt!! its been 9 months and counting n still not updt...i've given up hope on it.. now waiting till Dec 16th for the TVR denial or approval..at lease i have a date to look forward to. If that fails i'll go to Jamrock for x-mas i'd much rather be there than here..i HATE the cold
brace urself for whats going on out west..i heard TO will be getting the same thing on Wedn have everyone gotten their snow tires???

hatewaiting - it's been 9 months! and they haven't asked for original documents? Did you send originals in with your application maybe? Man, so at least I know who to cheer for now. So there are a few who have gotten through that started around the same time as you guys did. I guess it truly does come down to the specific IO.

The 16th should be a great day. Let's pray you get some good news.

Good Afternoon All...

Just wanted to let everyone know that hubby received his PR card on Friday in the mail so it was a month and 1 day he received his card.

Lets hope for some updates this week.

i really believe its up to the IO...i did submitt the originals and paid all the fees when i sent in the appl. you would think that speeds ups the process!!! i bang my head everyday trying to figure out what the delay could b...the IO must have seen something on the file to make her put it on the back burner...but what?!?! i dunno girl...mi tired fi tink bout it!! mi just haffi wait n i now look forward to next week..mi just a pray n hope for the best. thanks...

Thanks Missing.....yes he did...but the coach said he needs a new hockey sick....so off he goes with Grandparents and gets a new one...lol...so now for his game this friday ..we will see....lol.

hatewaiting - I'm glad that you answered yes that you did submit originals. If you hadn't, I was thinking crap they STILL need to ask you for originals and that could take forever!. But i think it's good news that you submitted with originals because really... at this point, the only thing that you need is a call for the PP pick-up (unless you need a medical re-do?).
So I am still confident that you'll get a call soon.
