Glogirl... i hope that things pick up for you soon... i agree that each person you speak to at IMM gives you a different answer but i hope that you dont have to pay the removal costs (1500) and the ARC... it just seems like a cash grab to me... but fingers crossed sedways!

helpmeplease - congrats on the passport drop off... now you will be counting down the days... we got hubbies passport 11 days after he put it in including weekends... thursday he dropped it off and 2 mondays after he picked it up. But they called him on the friday before... so it was technically 1 week and 1 day that it took KG to call him back! YAYAYAY! Start looking for flights! Its a good thing that he is flying out of Mo Bay at this time of the year... the flights are a lot cheaper than KG right now! I love west jet... they always have a good seat sale! Good Luck!

What I would like to know is if you have overstayed your time but left voluntarily, when you send in your application will there be any consequence. What I mean is will you need to get an ARC.

My word, we are a quiet lot this week so will post a little longer joke

Jane was a first time contestant on the $65,000 quiz show, where you have to answer questions to win the cash prize.

Lady luck had smiled in her favor, as Jane had a gained substantial lead over her opponents. She even managed to win the game but, unfortunately, time had run out before the show's host could ask her the big question. Needless to say, Jane agreed to return the following day. Jane was nervous and fidgety as her husband drove them home. "I've just gotta win tomorrow. I wish I knew what the answers are. You know I'm not going to sleep at all tonight. I will probably look like garbage tomorrow."

"Relax, honey," her husband, Roger, reassured her. "It will all be OK." Ten minutes after they arrived home, Roger grabbed the car keys and started heading out the door. "Where are you going?" Jane asked. "I have a little errand to run. I should be back soon" he replied. Jane waited impatiently for Roger's return. After an agonizing 3 hour absence, Roger returned, sporting a very wide and wicked grin. "Honey, I managed to get tomorrow's question and answer!"

"What is it?" she cried excitedly.

"OK. The question is: 'What are the three main parts of the male anatomy?' And the answer is 'The head, the heart, and the p-nis.' " Shortly after that, the couple went to sleep with Jane, now feeling confident and at ease, plummeting into a deep and restful slumber. At 3:30 in the morning, however, Jane was shaken awake by Roger, who was asking her the quiz show question. "The head, the heart, and the p-nis," Jane replied groggily before returning to sleep. And Roger asked her again in the morning, this time as Jane was brushing her teeth. Once again, Jane replied correctly.

So it was that Jane was once again on the set of the quiz show. Even though she knew the question and answer, she could feel the butterflies conquering her stomach and nervousness running through her veins. The cameras began running and the host, after reminding the audience of the previous days events, faced Jane and asked the big question.

"Jane, for $65,000, what are the main parts of the male anatomy? You have 10 seconds."

"Hmm, uhm, the head?" she said nervously. "Very good. Six seconds."

"Eh, uh, the heart?" "Very good! Four seconds."

"I, uhh, ooooooohh, darn! My husband drilled it into me last night and I had it on the tip of my tongue this morning..."

"That's close enough," said the game show host, "CONGRATULATIONS!!!

What exactly does that mean BF date, does that mean they are not doing anything more till then? And when you went to your mp what did you say?

My timeline is as follows:
2009-12-03: Application mailed to CPC-M
2009-12-29: Application Returned (missing Additional Family form)
2010-01-13: Application received again at CPC-M
2010-01-18: Sponsorship approved & forwarded to KG

Hi BF=Bring forward....it is what the IO's appoint to ones file when they are ready to look at the file again


I simply asked my MP what our BF date was....and simply what was going on


We were asked to redo meds and police check Nov 11th ... Recieved letter on 13th

WE submitted everything decemeber 28TH .....I assumed they would have ahd the BF date 60 days from the date of the letter...but it seems NO...becuase the police check is not just done by us ....CIC conducts there own as well to coinside with the police certificate they asked the applicant to submitt.

So that is a for sure heads up for anyone redoing there police check...they applied what i can see 1 month BF date from the day our 60 days were up ...Bringing us to the Roughly 14th of febuary
MP couldnt find the date of the BF date when we were talking I really dont think she found it and just shot off a date what she thought she saw...Oh welll


But anyways she did say we are in the home strech and it shouldnt be much longer from here...

Our meds showed in the sytstem as "valid til Dec2010" I cannot calirfy wether or not they were reviewed or not ...but i hope that the meds have been reviiewed and the only thing they are waiting on is the police clearance

She said it could be right on that day or b4 or they may make another one if they havent recieved the clearances back

So confusing and long


I feel like i am a puppet on a string when it comes to this ...I hate it

this forum is split 50/50 as far as how we met our hubbies and wifeys.... half met in Canada while hubbies where here and the other half met hubbies and wives in Ja. tho most of us are women we have a few men kicking around... its def. a diverse group!

Evening,
Will try to check in and catch up later after child is in bed. In the meantime, KC can move me in the section with LCW. Hubby picked up police certificate this morning and dropped all items (original docs, police, etc.) at CHC this afternoon. Tried to leave PP, but no go. And they only kept one of the marriage certificates even though he brought both. So here we go back to waiting...our 60 days would be Feb 19, even though we only got the letter Jan 13 (dated Dec 21). Figure I will wait til that week then see if MP can get an update on BF date.

Mizzy good to go....Well sounds like you have a plan going similar to mine....Well at least there is so many of us redoing that anyone in the future will know what thery are facing regarding this...

I suggust everyone take a look at Missinmyhubby2 she was asked to redo back in June around the June 17th and she submitted everything including police check August 14th.....So she was just days away from her 60 days....When she got the call for passport it was just 28 days later...so hopefully that gives everyone a idea...mabey mizzy even though your 60 days is in febuary you may be finalized shortly after...
