masskendawta, are you sure that when they call for pp drop off they will talk to anyone but you??? Because when they called my husband they had to verify that it was him before they asked him to drop his pp off. It just came to mind!!!

Jamdont...my friend is in canada, she went thru this same process.
Kgn change up them thing so often that you never know, but when i went to drop off passport first time i went in the morning and the security told me to come back at 1 30. I was asking for a bly but he said the most he could do was take it and use the ''drop box'' but i wasnt comfortable with that so i went back in the afternoon, I know when you take it in yourself dem scrutinize it...

LOL soanxious...since I came here, I been reading all over this forum. All thread that don't have anything to do with me I read, so that's how I know about "flagpoling", LOL.

Ahhh Law & Order: UK is done until next week. K, time to show hubby some love, he is very patient with me every week while I drool over this blooming Irishman! :P

btw...anyone on here use the ecas-tracker?

i been getting mails from them that i have an update but my update never changes...this evening i got another mail from them, but status has not changed. i remember godbless had the same thing happen

Ramdont,,

I gave them two contact numbers on my original application.

My husband's number in Canada and my mother's number in jamaica.

I would assume they would call the canada number first as I listed it first.

I also read that if they try to call and do not get through they will send an email...does anyone know if this is true?

what did your husband have to do to verify it was him?...did they ask him specific questions?

They asked if they were speaking to (they quoted his full name) and if he was being sponsored and by whom!!!

I just signed up with e-Cas tracker!!! hope it will track some surprise for me next week!!! ;D

Ramdont,

Did you sign uo for the tracker at https://ecas.carroll.org.uk/ ?

If so, is it safe to have your info out there with on a tracker that is not associated with the CIC?

I have seen where people on here have used it so I guess it may be safe. It seem to be associated with CIC in some way because it was able to show me the same status that's on CIC.

MKD, from what I understand about the eCAS tracker, when you sign up, the tracker checks your status for any changes. Lots of applicants on these forums use it, I have yet to see any security or privacy concerns expressed. Also, as soon as your status changes to "Completed", it ceases to check on your status, as it cannot do anything else but check for changes, and the programme is written to stop at that stage.
