Howmuchlonger...Umm i am 12 weeks so real early ...3 months....so as u would know i dont know what we are having... ;D

Tht is awesome about the land ...U must be so excited....It is nice to have your own home in JA that is for sure.Well either way at the birth it will bne pure joy ...so happy for u both glad u had a good time in JA

We have our likkle house in our district where were like 2 chains from my mother in laws house..Pure BUSH...hahah...We are not done with the house as yet ...We had packed a barrell ...like 4 months back ...with odds and ends we need to fix the house...when we go down there this time we are under serious contruction this time...cause next time we go to JA we are staying in our own damn house...

I love my family but i have lived cramped up long enough ...LOL....Fix up mi house the way mi love it....soon time for that ...

Anyways will post the info when i have it in hand

Welcome Masskendawta. Always nice to have another person on the forum, glad you finally joined - no doubt you know plenty about we after reading since 2009, so it will be nice for we to get to know u.

Quick question - Did you do your medical and police check close to when you sent off the application? That is our # 1 stressor that we try and get across to everyone because in the past that was what held up a whole slew of peoples packages. I am sure you are well aware since you have been reading - but just wanted to double check!! Medicals are valid for 1 year only.

I hope you have a smooth run with your process through KNG!

I did the police check and the medical records a few days before I sent the application.

The fact that the medicals are only valid for a year really concerns me!...what percentage of applications would you say are held up at the end of the process because medicals have to be done over 'cause they expired?

Do you know how long the police check is valid?

They requested our original marriage certificate in November...does anyone know if this a positive request...or maybe a negative one as they doubt the validity of our marriage?

We are praying for a smooth process....after reading some posts kingston seems to be quite a stressful office to have to contend with!

I have a feeling i am next too LCW....and omg,..u know when i was pregnant with our son, hubby wanted me to name him De'shawn too! I really liked the name but I wanted an italian sounding name so we just didnt go with it.... Jayla is also cute for a girl.

6 days till JA.....................................21 days of food culture and family weh mi love...I am getting mi hair did ...and mi nails did ...I laways sport a likkle theme ...black yella and green ....So hype...I miss mi family i miss them soo bad...and especially a certain special lady's cookin....MMMMMMMMMMMM.............and suga cane mi waan some a dat ..Yahhh

Oh and Nae happy for hubby .. hopefully things start lock in place...sometimes things take likkle time!!

So i was thinking if we have a little boy his name will be de'shawn or if it is a likkle girl ...Jayla what yall think!!

MKD (yeah, I like your name, but it's soo long to type every time! LOL) - the police certificate also expires after a year.

I am not sure what percentage of apps are delayed due to re-do. If you look at our timelines, you will see where 10 of 11 2008 applicants would have had to re-do, 18 of 24 2009 applicants and so far 11 2010 applicants have been processed under the one year mark.

Requesting Original documents is a positive thing, usually its when they are close to the end that they request originals and 2010 applicants have been going quite well as CharlieD mentioned so your wait should not be much longer...

I am currently visiting my husband in Canada until June 2011...if I get a PPR from Kingston during that time will I have to fly back home or can come other arrangement be made?
