Oh nae, forgot to reply to your email about when a baby can travel, I guess there is no standard time really... I am waiting for the 2 month shots to happen first, I am sure that its not manditory - but, your doctor might recommend it. at 2 months they get that first doctor appt and all that good stuff so I figured id wait until then, make sure little Tia is good to go, get her little shots and then we are off to JA.

Also, you need to get your baby a passport. That doesnt take too long, you can actually get it done within 20 days without proof of travel and probably a few days with proof of travel... so in the end, its totally up to you and when you feel comfortable in taking baby on a trip.

I asked this a while ago, and wanted to know if anyone had any idea where a person in JA starts to look for a Farm job in Ontario? My hubbies bro would like to look for work here on a farm and has asked me to collect some info for him, but I cant find ANY info at all.

Does the person in JA apply for a job here first or does he contact a farm or does he file papers and then get put on a list and then a farm contacts him?

Any help would be appreciated

Randysgirl… from all my trips to Jamaica I have been searched once that’s cause they seen my wedding dress in my hand and they told me to go down to the next lane something to declare they never charged me anything and at times ill just put it this way a little too many gifts lol…. Regarding ur question that is not easy to know the only option he has is to the Jamaica ministry of labour

Thanks ladies, all the help is appreciated. I just didnt know how they went about it - like, what the first step is. No doubt its not easy at all, but he is willing to give it a shot, so i figured id at least try and help him out and collect some information before we go down there.

Go to "Profile" and on the left there are options to modify your profile. Choose "Forum Profile Information" and you will see a bunch of places where you can enter date filed, visa office and so on.

I am also the Updates keeper currently, so if you can give your timeline in a post as well, I will add you to our updates listing. I need to know when your application was filed (Month and Year) and what is the last you have heard (Sponsorship approved, AOR received etc).

Thanks lonely, my bro in law is going through a tough time right now with no work and his daughter has some med problems so it would really help for him to be able to come work for a while.
Pregnancy is going well. I just got back from Jamaica on Monday from a vacation with the family. It was great I sat on the beach for a week straight. We also went to see a piece of land we are going to be building on next year which is exciting. Baby (amd mom) is growing 27 weeks along now, due May 23. We decided not to find out what we are having which is driving everyone crazy but it will be exciting to find out at delivery...
Congrats on expecting your new little one... When are you due? What are you having?
