Awesome news Sassy. Lets all hope and pray this is the beginning of a great yr for us all. Just wonderful. All you old timers need to get out of here move on girls.lol .
From what precious said maybe we won't have to do a ARC considering he waited and file well after his 1 yr was up. We waited cause we never knew we could file before that time. But god willing he will be home for our anniversary in Aug.

Stressed I can understand how ya feel girl. I feel angry most time just frustrated mostly and lonely lonely. Noone knows what we go through so thank goodness for this family here.
Today at work I almost could have beat down the boss. We are right in line for a nice bonus well I was planning if so I am going home to hubby for abit well doesn't she go and give me a written notice for my till being over by $20 she knows full well she doesn't have to do that and I totally believe just being catty. So now I am knocked out and yup mad as ^%$$%^% but ya know I pray and keep thinking karma is a B$%^$$. And then had to the freaken nerve to ask any news on your husband when she knew what I was gonna do. Hubby hates that woman and doesn't even know her. So frusterated mad and much more but just hold on stressed it will be ok.

Yes Sassy finally you get to post a UPDATE i was so happy for you ...really i was....i can see how excited you are....went to bed and slept good last night huh !!! I know how excited you are its wonderfull

Sassy and everyone whom is waiting on ARC .....A long time we have all been at this .....but there is something that i wanna say hopefully it makes sense to yous..I have done alot of reading pertaining to this proceedure.....

I truly feel because you have been asked to re medical and submitt ARC payment and deportation cost your almost done..

Wat ever your MP said sassy makes no sense...WHY...because medical is the last thing they look at or request (in your case) b4 they approve PR.....They wouldnt request re medical unless they were done with everything and ready to grant PR .....Background checks...screening yadda yadda.....So they are done that is why ARC payment has been requested along side with the removal cost and meds.....

Look at SOSO with her file they requested passport b4 they knew she just payed RPRF.....like i say dem done like dinna

Sassy this is just my 2 cents worth but u almost done..... and the fact the letter has dec 3rd on it woooi even closer...get those things in...and this is just a bet...but somewhere mid feb you gunna get that call.... mabey sooner but febuary your month man ...i can feel it

6 months after you get med request doesnt make any sense....believe me when i say this....dem ready fi send yuh mon home...cause dem nuh bodda request medical and draw it out for another 6 months ...trus mi

Hi everyone,

So hubby got a letter today (which is weird because I put his mailing address as our home address in Cananda) and it is similar to Longdistance's.

They have requested that he RE-DO HIS MEDICAL, and PAY $400 ARC fee and $1500 DEPORTATION REMOVAL FEES payable by BANK DRAFT AT THE EMBASSY IN KINGSTON. (can not be paid on line or in canada)
No request to re-do the police checks.....wierd but oh well..
He has 60 days to do this and the letter is dated DECEMBER 3RD, 2009 so he has until FEBRUARY 3RD, 2010.

He is going to do the medical tomorrow and I will send him the money tomorrow. Hopefully he can go to the embassy on Wednesday.

I pray that it is quick from here but as the MP told me before expect at least 6 months from this time.....I hope that she just said that so I will stop bugging her!!!! lol

Congrats Sassy...You soon done. I agree with Lonely.. They want the $ so they can finalize everything. They wouldn't ask for $ unless they were sure they are going to be able to come to Canada, cause they wouldn't take your money and deny you.

Bless up everyone in 2010. This year has started off great. No news from Canuck yet. He is probably bam bammed all out... LOL

I moved this weekend to a new place. Was hectic and me and hubby had to put together some furniture (HECTIC to say the least) another feat complete.... we were snatching the instructions right out of each others hands and throwing around the boxes. LOL

Place looks real nice... small but cozy. A place to call our own.....

KC and FF how are hubby's doing.......?

Soso - Congrats on the move. Great way to start (real) married life and a new year! Where do you live now? Is hubby job searching yet??

Well... I just got off the phone with hubby who has informed me that he received the cert. of no impediment in his hands today!! Thank the Almighty!! The only marriage that appears is ours. He got there @ 7am and refused to leave without the document. They made him wait until 12pm. The CEO's secretary handed him the cert. as well as a letter of apology signed by the CEO and a JP stating they were sorry for making us wait since November 3rd.

At least this chapter is over. I will contact my MP next month to inquire about the selection decision. I hope that I can also welcome my husband home in 2010!!

Good day everyone. Great for you Maple I pray things go smooth for you both and move forward.

I prayed and prayed last night for strength against this nasty boss woman and relized I am way better then her. I refuse to be stressed bout her and what she has done. Yes has cheated me out of seeing my husband but in the end the laugh may be on her if bonus doesn't come through she will out thousands
about $6000 to say. Hubby is very vexed with her but I say its ok god will get us through and she will get hers back when she isn't looking. Evil doers have no place here. If she say sorry cause I know her ways, she is catty and backstabbing with a smile on her face. Ooman like her never last in JA. I will in return will say oh its ok don't worry I just wanted to see my husband but know you must do your job. And go bout me business @ work.

Put all trust in the almighty and we will come out glowing in the end family.

Hubby is now Canadianized so I hooked him up with a friend who is going to take him out and let him work with him for a bit to get some experience and make a likkle dough.

The extra money will help and I can tell hubby is bored... I think he has watched every DVD we own in the last few weeks

Our 1 year Wedding anniversary is coming up next week and I have booked a 1 night hotel suite Niagara falls ... Jacuzzi in the room and everything to celebrate.

Hope he likes it there even though it's gonna be cold. Maybe casino as well
Should be fun times. Very Excited.

Well If all this isnt sorted out by June 5th(our anniversary) Hubby will be flying here again so we can spend it together. So either way I will see in in about 5 months time. (wonder if I should start a countdown? )

Hi everyone,

I wanted to say a big thanks to everyone for all of your nice words and comments!!!!
Hubby did the medical today and is going to try to make it to the embassy tomorrow. ( has a lot of running around to do and he is not sure if he can make it there between 1:30 and 2:30)
For all of you who know, ( which I am sure you all do!! lol) can anyone tell me again what times the embassy is open? if he is just paying the fee and showing proof that he re did the medical he can go anytime right? LCW....your hubby just did this right?

Sassy yes my husband just re do his medical along with all my step kids now thing is they did not need the med reciepts...I dunno why....apparently meds get sent to them so they do not need the generic reciept..but have him bring it along anyways just to be on safe side .....Open to the public 130-230 Mon-thursday CLOSED fridays to the public.... thats all .....he has to get there between that hour and get a number....that is the only option...
