It wasn't 4 days to approve me as a sponsor from the day they received my sponsorship application .. In fact our application sat for aprox 2.5 months in Mississauga before they started to process it.. But once they began process me as a sponsor it took 4 days from time
They begin to process me as a sponsor to the time they approved me a sponsor ...

If you log into the sponsors ECas it should show the date it was Receibed , the date it began to process , the date it finished processing and the date a decision was made ...
If I remember correct you weren't able to sign into both sponsor and your ecas , have you been able to do so yet ?

soon shorty ... Anytime now your gonna hear something .. Have you received your CAIPS notes yet ? I ordered mine and never got them but my husband has his passport back now so the notes wouldnt make a difference for me at this point .Maybe when you get them you will have a better understanding of where they are in your processing , my ECas still just says application received , we started processing your application Feb 20/15 and Medicals received so don't rely on your ECas is so behind. I don't know if they out source the work to another company to update the ECas status but either way its behind ..Are you still in Ja ? my husband wants me to go down for a week the first week of October so I can travel back with him but I'd rather just take time off work when he comes... Also if your able to please update my stats for me to show PPR Aug 28/15 and Passport returned to us Sept 18/15 it would be greatly appreciated . I might be a couple days off with the PPR date but I don't have a copy of the form here I thought it would have been emailed to me but it wasn't .. Thanks and God Bless

I was told it was cancelled altogether first time no updates from intitial approval-- sigh.. Now we are in second process had to start all over and pay again. I am taking my husband and my stepdaughter. I sent in the paperwork November 17, 2014 got started processing on February 4, 2015 and approved February 25, 2015 - the file was sent to Kingston and nothing until two weeks ago the sponsor side was updated with the dependant information and yesterday the permanent residence status updated to say start processing on March 10, 2015. Can someone help me to understand what this means-- we have been married 4 years been together 9 years--- this wait is unbearable

Good news Kingston is moving ... My husbands friend who was called Friday Received his passport request today ... Feb 28-15 they began to process there application in Kingston

That means you are closer to the end!! I know its awful but since you are so far in it wont be too much longer. I will add your info to the spreadsheet this evening. Welcome to the club!

According to Paula's post, it seems logical to me that they are going in order of the month they started processing applications. Since her friend got his passport requested today, it would seem the next people up are people's applications processed in March. So If this is correct, You should be hearing something next month *Fingers crossed*

Typically yes spousal sponsorships are processed in the order they are received however some applications take longer to Process and if additional documents are requested then that could also cause some apps summited after yours to be processed before . And if a interview is required that will also delay your application a little ...

My application started to process exactly 8 days before my husbands friends and it was about a month after My husbands they received there PPR..

Also something important to note for those who are considering redoing the police check . My husbands was expired and they didn't ask us for another one however my husbands friends PPR also asks for a updated police check to be sent in that is no more than 3 months old..

They also asked him for original birth certificates for him and his 2 children that aren't accompying him to canada .

So if any of your spouses don't have a original birth certificate for them and any children listed on the app it would be wise to go about getting one in case your also asked ...

My husbands friend Received the call Friday from Kingston VO so I'm assuming they sent him the PPR the same day because Friday's mail from Kingston should reach mobay by Tuesday /Wednesday ..

And yep March applicants should be getting requests this month

Im always reading the posts on here, I Dont post comments all the time bc I Dont know the immigration process too well but there are some really nice ladies on here shout out to Shortyp, Meljam, Cece. I miss impatient girl but its all good. . I wish everyone a speedy process. I just sent the docs requested yesterday. I went to TARA courier in Kingston so now its back to waiting.

Lately its been around 9/10 months. Now this can go up or down at anytime but following the recent trend I approximate around Mar/April 2016. But, I dont work at the VO so I cant say 100% sure. Just going by the recent trend.

;D Thanks for the welcome -- and the feedback I am excited to hear these positive feedback as I was told its 23 months from the time the papers reach Kingston which depresses me dearly. I travel 6 times a year and it gets costly and taxing.

His police record and medical was done last october so wondering if that will present further issues?

Email kingston and ask them to extend the medical and ask them if he will have to re-do the police check. Most likely he will but hey, if you are so close to PPR you never know what they could say.
