That's great, mine started processing in Kingston Feb 20/15 and we have received hubby's passport back ...

Another strange thing my ecas still doesn't say decision made however my husbands address in Ecas has now changed to reflect my Canadian address
In my case I had that line added to my ecas approx a month before passport request, however there were a few people who also had that line added the same day as me but no passport request yet ...

Also something brief for the new members if they haven't seen my previous posts ...
Don't be to worried if Ecas is only showing application received and months have passed because this doesn't mean that your application isn't being processed yet ..my application began to process Feb20/15 it was until Aug 17/15 my ecas was updated to show we began to process your application for permanent residence .. My husband has received a PPR from Kingston just a couple weeks after the ecas was updated and has also received his passport back from Canadian High Comminssion with the visa and necessary documents .. I just checked into Ecas again and there is no change except his address is changed to reflect my Canadian address. You would think since he has his passport back you would see it read decision made but it still just shows application received , application began to process , and medicals received which was shown from the beginning since I summiyed Medical , PC and RTPRF the same time I sent the applications to CiC Mississauga ..

I was checking my ecas up to 6 times a day at one point and it literally consumed me and was a let down everytime I checked but now I know it's out dated , or was in my case anyways ..

My husband received his Passport request in his mail however I have heard some members receive a phone call to send in passport and some receive a e-mail so I assume that it can be given any of these 3 ways , personally I would be worried if my husband took down all the info over the phone just in case he heard wrong ..

Also I forgot to mention he was also required to send in 2 more passport sized photos with his passport

Print this page, fill out and scan. Save to computer: (filled by the Canadian)

Do the same for this with hubbys signature: (or wife, which ever spouse is in Jamaica)

Then, start the order at:

Continue from there. You will upload the request form and the consent form during the order process. Thats it!

yea once Mississauga approves the sponsors portion then they send it to Kingston for the Pr processing , which is the longest part of all .. It took CIC Mississauga just 4 days to approve me as a sponsor once they started processing , not from the day it was received by Mississauga obviously lol...there quick on this end ...
