Good morning.

Nae - thanks, yeah I don't believe it would hurt either.

Chuckiewifey - the police certificates were being rejected because there was a security breach and someone with a criminal record was given a clean report. It depends on what date he received the report, you can read back and see the period.

Last night as I was doing the draft application I realised I am going to be using a lot of extra paper. I didn't realise I moved around so much since I left my mother's house!

Morning Everybody

Confused: At least now you get to go into the interview with no worries about that damn letter. You will do fine and be back before you know it.

LCW: You been keeping scarce man. But good to know you still deh bout.

Rosie: Once this weekend is over you will have your answers. Final stretch girl.

Well another week gone hopefully next week will be better.

Hi everyone, could someone please explain this to me. My husband just called to let me know that immigration sent him a letter for him to pay the rest of the immigration fee. Is this the permanent resident fee. I am so confuse because I don't know what to think of it. I haven't seen anything on Ecas. When he does pay the fee. Should he send the receipt to Mississauga or Kingston. Thanks. ???

Iambless - Yes, from what I know, the Right of Permanent Residence Fee is one fee that can be paid after the process has begun. Where he should send it, I am not sure, probably to CPC-M, but someone more experienced should really answer that for you.

I am wondering if its the right thing he telling me. I want to make sure so later I will look at the letter and if that is so WOW. My God is so GOOD. I applied in June and to get through already. Thank you Jesus. When they ask for this fee what does this mean?

From what I have read on these forums, it is a good sign, it usually means that the PR has been approved and they want the payment so they can finalise the visa, so if what I have understood is correct, they should request your PP after the payment is confirmed.

Before you pay the fee make sure which fee they are asking for because if its the permanent residence fee they should send you the letter not him I just hope it`s not the same fee they ask my husband to pay $1500.00 cnd. so ask him to fax you a copy of the letter because it will tell you what you need to pay.

$1500?! Did they say what for? Oh my lord...

As what iwe experience Immigration won`t start process the paper unless they have the money paid because i pay all the money (sponsorship) when i send my husband application and still it`s almost 2 years now and were still waiting they still ask us to pay $ 1500.00 which we did pay last August 17,2010 and still no call from them.

According to the Immigration if they are the one who buy the ticket for him to go back to Jamaica we have to pay them back $1500.00 but we bought the ticket ourself out of our pocket and still they ask us to pay $1500.00 but according to my MP it`s the cost for the deportation processing any how you take it once they send you home or you voluntary went home they still count it as deportation.

Yes, I have been reading a lot of the threads here, and I see where the ARC cases can take a long time, and even when the person pays their own way back home it is still a problem.

Well, I pray they get on with things since you guys paid them everything they asked for.

It look like they sit on our paper as soon as they get their money they don`t care about it anymore. >:( >:( >:(

Iambless: Make sure you know exactly what fees they require before you pay, it could be the RPRF or ARC fees. Your hubby overstayed right?

But either way its a good thing getting either request this early in you processing. Means they are working on you file. Congrats.

Well its one update but I'll take that over no updates. At least someone at KG is doing some work.

Hi everyone, I am here in Canada with my husband. We actually lives in Toronto but I am in Brampton now. My aunt had an motor vehicle in May this year so I stay here and help her sometimes. Could someone who have received letter request for Payment Resident Fee share it with me please.

You can pay it at the any bank just download the payment form and then send it to them. So you applying for your husband inbound(Canada) not outbound (Jamaica) still I advice to look at the letter and call Immigration to make it clear before you make the payment.
