Neither did I! I had included a letter from HR and from the owner stating that I worked there and my income. I has also included a month's worth or paystubs and a copy of my last T4 along with a note stating I would send option C when the printout came in... and they returned it. It was at that point I realized CIC means business!!! :

LOL! They definitely do! Lawd...well then I guess I can get everything else ready and plop that in when I receive it. Is anyone here affected by the walk out that happened in Kingston? has it been a big delay for you?

We seen a little bit of movement in Kingston while the strike was going on so we are not sure if it really affected us or not because Kingston slows down every summer anyways. I think the strike does give them a reason to up our processing time and an excuse for the long delays but not sure if it really "affected" any of us :0

I am asking you put hubby and I in your prays. This process has taken a toll on both of us and he is second guessing everything. I know we are good when we are together but right now most of our time is spent apart making it hard. He is angry and upset and I can not do anything to help him. I am scared I might lose him over this and this is not want I want. I love him and I know if we were together it wouldn't be like this. I have stayed home today because I am too upset and hurt to go into work. I don't have it in me to put a smile on my face today and act as if everything is ok. I keep praying for him and for us. I don't know what else to do.

I hope Kingston hears us and starts PPR because god knows we need it.

As do I...wow I didn't realize that the process took so long I've heard of stories where it's taken individuals I know 5/6months from filing to landing. Does it depend on who picks up your file?

yes she said she would take her to someone to get her to measure her but I told her nevermind I will figure it out when she gets here but I just thought maybe someone on here might have an idea of the size for an 11year old skinny toothpick girl LMAO! Thanks again for your help though.

You got it right Chickie...no greater pleasure than going shopping with your daughter. You get the chance to see what looks good on her and she gets to help pick her clothes.. Bonding time!

Your so right in this because I truly don't know her tastes! The only thing so far that I have bought her are a winter coat and underwear lol the winter coat is for when I pick them up at Pearson! (SOON!)

When I started this process , I hoped for 4-6 months. Now.. A year sounds optimistic . 20 months seems like human cruelty . Truth be told I simply can't understand it when you brouse other forums and see it done so much quicker . I firmly believe after 6 months they should have to send out monthly emails to update us. It's the sheer unknown that's heart wrenching and causes all of our stupid arguments . Just my 2 cents
