hows hubby managing? has he started to look for work? What is his plan?

Got my phone bill today... boy hubby a run up my phone bill like mad... i told him my phone was unlimited evening and weekend but he thought that if he was using a calling card that it wouldnt run off my min in the day time... WRONG! So i had a little talk with him and i told him the pay as you go phone that i bought for myself is now his... and he has to fend for himself - i want my phone back!!

Jamwifey - congrat's. You're right, any update is a good update.

The only thing that is so discouraging is that everyone's timelines are all over the place. So many of us have been 'in process' longer but no AOR
I just wish that they'd have one standard process .... grrrrrr

BUT I am super happy for anyone who gets an update because as many have said, it just prooves their lights are on and someone is working!

I'm leaving in 16 days! who hoo.

My gawwwwwwwwd so tru KC now dem haffi call Ja when dem reach and it way expensive now...no more international JA credit fi him....i memba when hussy run up wi phone bill like mad...mi almost lick him dung pan deh groun when mi see it ...lol

Oh the memories.....lol...yup that was all we ever faught about...ONE TING...COIL nuh RASS......Mi have mi liikle jamaican husband a tek two 20 dolla bills dem shove it inna him bill fold...an gwaan like him have nuttin...

Well dat yah night mi cook and ray ray him have one guiness drop asleep pan deh setty mi gwaan inna dat Rhatid bill fold tek up deh Rass 40 odd dolla...and a weh mi go get likkle grocery....

Next day afta him reach back from wuk him nuh seh nuttin...and neither me....2 WEEK LATA....when him relalize it a gone...him seh CHO...mi loose mi likkle pocket change.. i was like OH REALLY....damn that sucks...all deh while knowin weh deh rass money a go....mi look pan him an seh

memba deh oda day gone when mi axe yuh fi a likkle money an yuh seh yuh nuh have none....mi tek it up and by wi licckle food nuh mon.....neva lie to me again.....bwwwwwwwwoy all him coulda do was stare and you wouldnt belive wah kinda WAAR bruk out...Bahahahahahahah

Needless to say deh mon nuh keep nuttin inna him bill fold again !!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D MI nuh play !!

Hi Homesoon, Try not to let it discourage you - i know its easier said than done.

Kingston received mine and sosos file within a few weeks of eachother and I received a AOR after 9 weeks and soso didnt receive one AT ALL and we both have our husbands home with us now soso's husband came just under a month after mine.

Same with our document request. They requested my documents early on after receiveing my file and then I didnt hear anything from Kingston for 4 months... Soso didnt hear anything from Kingston for 4 months or so after they received her file and then got asked for documents - then a few months later her hubby was here....

I too wish there was a "standard" way to deal with things!

LOL - lonley your funny girl.... hahahahah you not easy at all.

love hearing your stories of when you and him were living together... must be so hard to have him and then have him tek way... i feel for all of you in that situation...

right now me and hubby are learning to live together since we never had before...... its not easy i tell you... im so used to having things where i left them... when i get home now mi haffi search fi mi own slippers them... and boy he is so used to just flinging things pon the ground i come home and all apple seed around the place - i have to tell him babes...we nah inna the bush no more... and when he does the dishes it takes him half hour for 3 little things.. he soaps up all of the dishes them.. then he runs the water so slow to rinse off the plate its like.. drip... drip... drip... and even down to cooking food.. i boiled potato the other day and went to drain the water and him snap pon me... dont waste the food dem... i said aright my bad.. drink your "potato tea" - and whats with the not flushing the toilet like... i dun know aready that they want to save their water them... true hubby haffi go inna the bush so he doesnt know about toilet too tough... but come on... dont wait until there is a rim around the toiled before you flush - dutty arse. And him shaver... him shave everywhere... little black hairs that come like splinter inna mi foot dem... And why does he haffi throw the wet towel on the bed... LOL.... Jokes! mi love him mi love him mi love him... mi just a joke... but its true... bless him! I could go on but i dont wnt to seem ungreatful... i will tek those splinters inna mi foot any day fi him to be here...
