Good morning i just found this group someone invited me

I am already married to my husband since July this year.
I am Canadian in Canada and he is Jamaican in Jamaica .
I have not yet started the sponsoring process.I was waiting until February when i get all the papers together.

Neither of us have children. He does not have a criminal record or any accompanying family members.

My thing is he is getting a chance to come up to Canada on farmwork .should i let him go back home after his work is done ,or let him overstay and file from up here ?
Which one is with less ramifications? There are so many loopholes I am just trying to find one.(if possible)

Anyways your married correct? WOW he got through for farm work after your marriage ??....yah i wouldnt over stay his visa...complication could happen and at anytime they could order him to leave during the inland...So yea better him go home and you file for him outland....Less processing time too.

Currently outland in jamaica in 7-14 months processing.........

You going to start to put together the application Febuary well then there is alot to know b4 putting that darn thing together and i am and all of us here will not let you make any mistakes at all because we know what they are.....LOL

Holy SNOW BATMAN.........

I went to bed last night around 2 and there was no SNOW... I woke up at 7 AM and I could hardly push the front door open.

Hubby was sleeping like a baby, and I was going to let him sleep in this morning and when I looked outside, I had to wake him up to show him.

I opened the door and his jaw just about hit the floor......... LOL.
He said he wanted to have a snow ball fight..... LOL...I said wait till I get home from work and you are ON........ LMFAO...... Him a get one rass lick in da face wid an ice ball.... Trust me....... LOLLLLLLLL

Maple hubby is great thanks... he is a little freaked out about the "ice rain" but he will manage. We are going to beenie man stage show this weekend so he is excited about that... he needs a little bit of Jam Rock right now... him getting home sick! Poor Fella!

BMP - welcome to the forum. As lonley said I would highly recommend doing it outland and he most definetly should not over stay. It will only add complications to your file and in the end you will spend more time apart from hubby.

LOL SOSE.... wha gwan... snow ball fight lol. My mom called and said she has about a foot of snow, we hardly have any downtown - its pure ice and rain. Hubby saw the snow on top of the roof but not on the ground. I hope you guys have fun in the snow! he is going to bring the kid out in yuh again.

HELLO family!!!


Well only 6 days left with hubby :'(. Trying not to be sad about it and just enjoying the time. He keeps saying dont worry we will be living together in 4 months. But I have no faith that KG will process that fast. This is going to be one sucky christmas.


On a happier note. SOANXIOUS yes my BAMBAM a done but yours jus a come. Happy fi yuh. I think you should definitely go to KG and find out what is going on with your file. Hope you enjoy every minute with your hubby.

Ok, so are you in Canada on a visitor visa or a work permit? How long have you been here? Do you have any issues such as an over stay? When do you have to go back to Jamaica?

Your husband lives in Canada and he is a PR or a citizen?

Your daughter will have to get a criminal check in England and in Jamaica. Make sure both of these are done or it will add time on to your application.

If you have been in Canada for more than 6 consecutive months you will then also need to get a police check in Canada and a police check in Jamaica - To be on the safe side I would recommend getting a police check for Canada regardless of the amount of time spent here.
