Well the hubby went to Kingston today and it wasnt so great news...we were denied...because he married me for money Is what they are saying our marriage is not legit!! So here we go with the appeal process!!!! A fight they are going to have on they're hands!!!! I have no idea why they kept our passport if thats the case!!!
Sorry I couldnt bring good news to the Kingston Family!!! :'(

I was wondering about these "updated" notes that everyone is talking about? Likewise to many others, I have only checked online and get "application received"..

I am 14 wks pregnant with our first baby! We are both so excited!

Congratulations on your pregnancy and your Sponsorship approval!

You can check out the ticker under Chickie72's timeline to see the stats of members on this forum.

Here is the information I provided a few pages back regarding GCMS notes:

GCMS notes (Global Case Management System) are notes that are made on your file. The Sponsor can order them online or by mail for $5 and the Applicant has to sign a consent form. They take 30 calendar days (sometimes longer) to be sent to the Sponsor once they are ordered.

A lot of people order the GCMS notes if they have been in the process (around a year) and haven't heard anything from Kingston. It is also a good idea to order them if you are scheduled for an interview.

If you want to read more about notes, enter GCMS notes in the forum search engine.

Trust me...they are not 'updated' on a regular basis. Patience is going to be your best friend through this journey and more than likely this forum.

Hopefully your hubby will land sooner than later so he can be in Canada for the birth of your baby!

@ my fam jam and a few of my POS fam...you bet your arses I'm appealing!! I am woman hear me roar...KIN has not heard my roar asyet...trust me they will!!!...I have already filled out my notice of appeal and going to the MP's office in the morning...just waiting for the hubby to fax me the denial letter and then its ON KIN!!! I am not even waiting for my letter!!! Thank you all for your support and I'm probably guessing Im going to need much more in the comming future!!!! Muahs love you all!!!!

welcome to the forum. i will add you to the spreadsheet. Congrats on the baby that is awesome we have another jamfam baby coming! The notes are a personal choice. Because we are dealing with a government we have access to the file that is being completed during our application process, the officers are supposed to update the GCMS program and for $5.00 we can get a copy of what has been updated. Sometimes you can see what is going on if the officer is proficient in updating it and other times you don't see anything. I personally order mine every month and I do see progress, only three times now have I ordered and not seen anything in them. You do need to get your hubby to sign the consent form in order to order them but he can sign and scan and email them back to you, they don't have to be the original, I got hubby to sign tons of them when I went to JA last time.
