How do you apply for a medical extension?

Hi canjam!

You don't apply for a medical extension. It is the visa officer's discretion whether or not to extend your medicals.

Here is the bulletin from the CIC website:

Please note: the bulletin expired but I'm sure the rules have remained the same.

OMG i am so fricking shocked i can't believe this 11years and they think that, kingston not doing their job at all they need an intervention..How can a person fake a relationship for so long i am pissed at this information..So now we don't know what to expect from them they will ask us for pp when they know they gonna deny us..

I am woman hear me roar...KIN has not heard my roar asyet...trust me they will!!!...I have already filled out my notice of appeal and going to the MP's office in the morning...just waiting for the hubby to fax me the denial letter and then its ON KIN!!! I am not even waiting for my letter!!! Thank you all for your support and I'm probably guessing Im going to need much more in the comming future!!!! Muahs love you all!!!!

I am so, glad that you are "rolling up your sleeves", and fighting back... It's time to rally the "troops", MP, Immigration consultant, lawyer... who ever can help you. ...and of course we are here for moral support... because unlike anyone else we know what it is to wait, and having someone else in "control"... ???

Thank you for the link. My husband doesn't get back to Jamaica until June of next year. If we don't get through by then, should he just resubmit a new medical and police check?
