So much love and support from the jam fam this week...I hope it spills over to Kingston and they reunite at least one family before Friday...

Thanks chickie72 for your reply.

The Rome Visa Office just sent an Email with an attached document stating:

Should you decide to apply for authorization to return to Canada, you must indicate why special considerations apply in your case and pay a processing fee of CAN$400.00.

Thanks again,

so then you just write them a letter stating why you should be allowed back into Canada, ie you are married and want to start a family life etc....also if you complied with CBSA then let them know that etc......submit that with the $400 and you should be ok!

here is what I got from the CIC website:

When an officer assesses your application, they will consider, among other things:

the reasons for the removal order
the possibility that you will repeat the behaviour that caused the order to be issued
the length of time since the order was issued
your current situation
the reason why you want to enter Canada.

I sent Montego Bay Visa office this morning and forward them the new report about visa being 3 months this was their reply

Dear XXXXX
Thank you for the article. We have already responded to your query regarding processing times. If there are circumstances affecting the process additional to what we have already communicated, you will be notified. As soon as your passport is returned you will be advised. Should you require further assistance, please let us know.

Kind regards

So I am not sure about the 3 months but they did say there was going to be some delay. I do have to say that the Montego Bay office is really great on getting back to people less then a hour for the most part.

My wife and I will write a letter ASAP explaining why Immigration should allowed me to go back to Canada.

Yes August 30th was the 20 working days. I emailed them Sept 3 asking how or when do we find out about our application this was their reply Sept 3/13

Hello
The application was received by the High Commission on the following business day August 5th. There is currently a backlog of summer applicants which we presume has resulted in the delays you are experiencing. The High Commission is working on this situation and we are therefore unable to give any further updates beyond what is available on the website.

So I read about the article on the forum being 3 months so I asked because we are now 27 business days and still nothing. I pray that its soon but what I want is for his PR to be started more then anything. I want my hubby here before the end of October. I feel bad that he has to come here in the winter. Seeing I am in the Yukon and it gets pretty cold Dec to Feb
